The facilities are excellent; despite being an older hotel, there are no signs of wear and tear. The hygiene is impeccable; everything is spotless. The environment is opulent and lavish, truly befitting Dubai's extravagant reputation. The service is top-notch, hands down the best I've experienced. The only minor drawback is a faint old-hotel smell that even air fresheners couldn't quite eliminate. Oh, and the complimentary perfume they gave was absolutely delightful!

This is an excellent hotel, good in every aspect. If I had to find something to be unhappy about with a 7-star hotel, it would be the long wait for the room upon check-in. We had to wait two whole hours to get our room. However, they extended our check-out by two hours the next day, offered an apology, and even sent supper. Overall, I had a very good experience.

This hotel has been around for over twenty years, and it's still well-maintained. All the facilities and equipment are in good working order. 👍 The only thing is, the decor now feels a bit outdated, with a mix of red, blue, and gold – giving off a rather gaudy, 'nouveau riche' vibe. I have to complain about the breakfast though; both the restaurant setup and the food quality don't live up to the 'luxury' price tag. I wouldn't recommend staying here just for the experience.

The hotel offers a free shuttle to the Old Town Market and the beach, plus boat tours of the castle canal. There's a Chinese-speaking butler available. I asked multiple times about room cleaning times. The breakfast selection was limited and didn't change much over the two days we stayed.

This truly lives up to its 7-star reputation. The 170-square-meter suite was spacious, bright, and luxuriously decorated – absolutely fantastic. The breakfast was rich and delicious, and the staff were warm and attentive. The hotel's underwater restaurant and the Michelin-starred sky restaurant both offered superb ambiance, service, food, and views from the window. Just remember to dress formally when dining there! The hotel's appearance changes completely between day and night, both equally stunning. Located on a private island, security is excellent; non-guests are not allowed in unless they have a dining reservation or are part of a tour visiting the Presidential Suite. Even then, they are restricted to the lobby and hotel exterior after their visit and cannot go upstairs. There's a free buggy service connecting to Souk Madinat Jumeirah, its four hotels, and three other Jumeirah properties nearby.
