Sonder at JBR the Walk

It was a great experience staying here with my family I really really enjoyed my time, quite family oriented place and respectful people. Very friendly. And helpful staff they were very friendly . It was our first time but won’t be the last time….💃💃💃💃✌️

It is a difficult review to write. We are a family of 4 and have stayed in many 5 star hotels in Dubai. We stayed at the Sonder for 20 nights. The apartments are excellent. Lots of space, well equipped with awesome views. If that is what you want then this is a great place to stay. However.. the pool - Azure Beach Club is not. The Rixos has over 1000 hotel rooms and there are probably max 30 Sun beds near the pool and another 30 ish in a lesser location by the hotel. You will not get a Sun bed (except maybe on the beach) unless you are down before 7am. They then get reserved for the whole day. Also half the pool area is taken up with an adults only pool that has a live DJ from lunchtime. Sonder guest have to pay to use this. Plus in front of the family pool they have the best beds reserved for minimum spend per day. That should tell you a lot about this hotel. Gym is small but okay. You can get all the food and groceries apps to deliver to your door Staff are helpful. JBR traffic is horrendous and regularly added 10-15 mins to each journey whether coming in or leaving. JBR is good for restaurants and Marina is a walk away.

The apartment was spectacular and everyone was very friendly and courteous. However - for the price that we paid (over 40,000dhs) there should be (at least) twice weekly cleaning and bed changing provided - in fact there should be daily servicing. We found the service to be a bit hit-or-miss. On some days when we called down to take the trash out or for new towels/sheets we got service within 10 minutes and on other occasions it took hours with call backs required. On one occasion we had to leave after waiting over an hour for somebody to come, so I placed the refuse bag outside the door. We were severely (almost rudely) admonished for doing this. The beds were very comfortable but the furniture in the main living/dining area was both sp**** and very poor quality. I was also a bit disappointed to get a call at 11:05 on the morning of departure putting us under pressure to vacate the apartment immediately on the premise that "the next guests had paid for early check-in". Beautiful apartments in a wonderful location but the overall product does not justify the cost.

First visit and won’t be the last! Large 2 bed apt. Think 32 floor?! Amazing amazing views, loved everything about the apt, service excellent, location excellent, beach club fantastic, great service around pool. Sonder staff really helpful. Loved being able to access hotel amenities - made a mistake of a coffee in the chocolate cafe- wow that’s some expensive coffee!! Will rebook and recommend this to all travellers. Super happy we found this.

I stayed in their coveted 5-BR apartment, which is absolutely amazing. I didn't need all of those bedrooms, but I appreciated the penthouse feel. These are serviced apartments, so you won't get the full hotel experience...but the good thing about these apartments in particular was that it shared the lobby with the Rixos hotel, and thus access to bars, restaurants, excursions, etc...was at your fingertips. The team was also incredibly responsive. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is that the room could use some updates/modernization, particularly to the kitchen and bathrooms. Still, if I could have bought this apartment, I would have! Very nice.

It was one of the best stay that I ever had… it was a reunion with my family and first i booked one bedroom suite but i want to thank especially from Rue who is so cute and kind she upgrades my room to two bedroom and made this reunion like a dream… although the one bed room was also so convenient and comfy.. the hotel is so clean and has ambiance… the beach and the pool are awesome…all the employees in the hotel are so kind and helpful they do what ever is necessary to make your stay as good as possible…undoubtedly i will stay at the hotel again

This was such a lovely stay at Sonder dubai. Unlike other airbnbs, this was a serviced apartment. There was a 24 hour concierge which was so helpful for us in getting amenities, advice on where to go and just generally making sure we had a great stay. Overall, very pleased.

It was the most amazing stay we ever had. We had the bachelorette of our sister and everything was perfect. We will come back again asap. Thank you to the staff they made our stay more than perfect. Everything was cleaned and well organized. THANK YOU GUYS
