Overall, my stay was quite good, but my evaluation depends on the standard used. If this hotel were rated as a four-star property, the overall service and experience would easily be considered good or even outstanding. However, if judged strictly by five-star standards, my experience would be closer to average or slightly below average.
To start with the positives, the doorman service was excellent. The staff were warm and welcoming, proactively helping with luggage and delivering it to the room. This level of attentiveness is exactly what you would expect from a five-star hotel.
However, the check-in process at the front desk was quite slow, and it took a long time to complete the procedure. For a hotel that positions itself at a five-star level—especially in a city like Dubai—this waiting time feels longer than what guests would normally expect.
Another small disappointment occurred when I asked the front desk some specific questions and requests. Instead of taking initiative to solve the issue, the staff member mentioned that they were not sure and would need to ask a colleague. While understandable, a five-star hotel usually trains staff to handle such situations more confidently and proactively.
In terms of cleanliness and facilities, the hotel definitely meets five-star standards. The rooms and public areas were well maintained and comfortable.
The main area for improvement is service details, particularly in the dining experience. The hotel’s restaurant and the Iftar buffet offered good food quality overall, but the variety of dishes was somewhat limited. More importantly, during the dinner buffet, the orange juice ran out. When I asked a staff member about it, I was simply told that it was finished. For a five-star hotel, this response felt below expectations—something as basic as orange juice should be replenished promptly during a buffet service.
In summary, the hardware, facilities, and overall environment are very close to five-star level, but service details and attentiveness still need improvement. If the hotel continues refining these small details, it could easily deliver a true five-star experience.
