My recent 10-day stay at the Nihal Hotel in Dubai was a mixed experience, marked by truly excellent staff service but noticeably dated facilities.
The strongest point of the hotel is undoubtedly the staff. Every single member of the team I encountered was incredibly polite and friendly, always ready with a smile and a helpful attitude. I must give a special mention to Sharuk, whose outstanding service and professionalism truly made him stand out. The hospitality here is five-star.
However, the hotel itself is in need of refurbishment. While clean, the overall appearance and condition of the building and rooms feel tired and dated, suggesting a renovation is long overdue to bring it up to modern standards.
For guests traveling with a vehicle, be aware that the on-site car park is very expensive, which can add a significant unexpected cost to a long stay.
Finally, the breakfast is lacking and very limited. While technically a buffet, the variety and quality did not meet expectations for a hotel of this size, and it felt like a minimal offering for guests planning a full day out.
In summary, the Nihal Hotel benefits immensely from its location and its wonderful, dedicated team, but guests should be prepared for an older property with some areas (like the dining and parking fees) that could significantly improve.
