"Our entire stay was nothing short of amazing, and we truly enjoyed every moment from the time we checked in until our departure. The room was well-prepared, comfortable, and maintained to a very high standard by the housekeeping team, who ensured everything was spotless and welcoming throughout our stay.
What really stood out, however, was the exceptional service and hospitality we received from the staff. Ajay at the front office was an absolute star – always approachable, polite, and extremely helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and guided us with genuine care whenever we required assistance. His professionalism and warm attitude made a lasting impression on us.
Equally, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Simran and Priya in the kitchen, who made our dining experience truly delightful. They not only ensured that the food was excellent but also added a personal touch with their kindness and attentiveness. Every interaction with them made us feel valued as guests, and their efforts made our mealtimes so enjoyable.

"This is a difficult review to write as the QE2 is a very famous passenger liner (not a cruise ship) converted into a hotel, which means that it is nothing like a normal hotel and cannot be judged as one. By necessity it is moored in the docks area far from the city and there is almost nothing nearby. However that is rapidly changing and the whole area is undergoing massive regeneration. The new reception building is first class as are the staff. We were made most welcome and shown to our room (cabin) by a consierge, who explained the layout of the ship to us. The cabins have been very successfully converted into modern hotel rooms with many of the original ship fittings retained, providing a nostalgic touch. The dining facilities were excellent. A massive buffet breakfast to start and an excellent evening meal with our half board package. This a full three courses from the a la carte menu, a touch of class. The downside of the dining is that it is at the rear of the hotel and if you have a room at the front then it is a long walk. If you are expecting a modern conversion then you will be disappointed as the hotel has retained many of the ship's fixtures and fittings, which, although very high quality are now a bit dated. Each day there is a Heritage Tour of the hotel where the history of the ship is explained. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay and would highly recommend it It is an experience not to be missed, not a hotel stay."

"I stayed at Premier Inn Dubai International Airport during a long layover, and it turned out to be a much better experience than I expected for an airport hotel. The rooms were very clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and even a safe for valuables, which gave me peace of mind. A detail I really appreciated was the quality of the hairdryer in the room, something small, but often overlooked even in higher-end hotels.
The staff were another highlight. Everyone I interacted with was professional, kind, and genuinely helpful. Since I only had about 20 hours in Dubai, they went out of their way to give me tips on how to make the most of my short visit. That extra effort made a big difference.
Food at the hotel restaurant was surprisingly good for the price, and the variety was more than enough for a short stay. For me, though, the real game changer was the free shuttle service that runs regularly between the airport and the hotel. It was extremely convenient and took away any stress about getting back in time for my next flight.
Overall, Premier Inn is an excellent choice if you’re in Dubai for a layover or a short stay. Comfortable, affordable, and far better than your average airport hotel. i would definitely stay again."

"This is undoubtedly an excellent value-for-money hotel at Dubai Airport. Both this hotel and The Loft are good options. The Loft is within walking distance of Terminal 1, and this hotel is also very conveniently located. After exiting Arrivals at T1, turn right and walk for about a minute, and you'll spot the parking area. This is the designated pick-up point for all hotel shuttle buses, and each bus clearly displays the hotel's name. However, for such a major international airport like Dubai, the signage definitely needs improvement. I struggled for quite a while to find it. A clear 'Hotel Shuttle Buses' sign right at the exit would make a huge difference for travelers."

Getting to & Around Dubai
If you’re flying into Dubai, there are two big airports you’ll probably use: Dubai International Airport (DXB)—the busier, more central one—and the newer Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) down in Dubai South. Which one you pick just depends on your airline or where you’re heading. If you want a hotel with easy airport shuttles (so you don’t have to worry about getting to the city right away), these two work well:

Getting around Dubai isn’t hard—there are lots of easy ways. The Dubai Metro (it has red and green lines) hits most big spots, like Downtown or Dubai Marina. It’s air-conditioned and cheap. If you want more flexibility, apps like Uber or Careem work here, and regular taxis are easy to find too. For short trips, you can rent bikes or e-scooters, especially in areas like Jumeirah Beach Residence where it’s easy to walk. And if you want a fun, cheap ride, take the Water Bus (abra) across Dubai Creek—it’s a nice way to see the water.

GGuest UserMy husband and I had our first holiday as a family of three with our 7 month old baby at Voco Dubai The Palm Hotel. We chose this hotel as it had a private beach (we didn’t want to spend time travelling to a beach each day), was located away from the chaos of Dubai, offered a king size bed (I cosleep with my baby), and there was an option for including breakfast (again did not want to spend time searching for or travelling to a breakfast location with a baby). Compared to other surrounding hotels, it is a relatively small and new hotel. However, this only enhanced our positive experience as it added a more personal touch. The valets (sorry I didn’t catch their names!) took our car down to the car park while other members of staff took our luggage to our room. Diana at the front desk was the first team member we met inside and made us feel very welcome. Our room was very spacious and clean. Thank you to Arun Gawam from Housekeeping! We enjoyed our coffee pods and Biscoff biscuits provided after each thorough clean. Some reviews mentioned noise but we only heard some drilling upstairs during the day and some music outside on Friday and Saturday night. Neither of these bothered us or our baby. The breakfast buffet was amazing and had plenty of choice with some of the options changing on each day so we had some variety. The welcoming, dynamic staff knew our tea and coffee orders from day one and always greeted us with smiles. We were asked daily if we wanted our eggs cooked in a certain way. This was great because our baby is just getting started on solids. Our baby girl loved seeing all the hardworking, smiley members of staff waving at her every morning. I would particularly like to thank Rojean, Rashmi and Aldrin as well as Fasha, Shiela, Juliet, Dioseth, Anu, Marion, Fhaizan, Amin, Chef Prabin, Chef James, Chef Anyu, Ariz, Sun and Puja. The private beach was a highlight of our holiday. We loved the easy and quick access to the beach with bottles of water and beach towels provided upon arrival. The cabanas were great for privacy as I had to breastfeed my baby on the beach. The WiFi was hit and miss on the beach but I guess that helped us relax more. Thank you to Bidan, Chamodi and Roni for taking care of us there! The only downside for me was the lack of power socket to plug the hairdryer in the bathroom or next to the mirror in front of the bathroom or by the mirror in front of the desk. We had to plug the hairdryer in the socket by the bed and therefore had to dry our hair on the bed, which wasn’t a major issue, just an inconvenience and a little loud right next to our baby. Overall, it was a great holiday experience thanks to each and every member of staff!

GGuest UserI thought that the hotel was in a shopping mall, and many customers would buy things, so there should be basic property security. However, the next day, I found that the Chanel earrings my friend bought the day before were missing. The hotel said that they took it very seriously, but in fact, they could not solve the problem and did not take the initiative to follow up.
I can only say that I took it for granted that they would have some measures to ensure the financial security of customers, but in fact, there was no such thing, so we could only consider ourselves unlucky and bought another pair. ⚠️Friendly reminder that you should still pack your things before going out, and carry valuables with you. If you buy too many things, you can record it before leaving, or ask someone to clean it when you are in the room to avoid unnecessary losses and misunderstandings.
Other things are generally OK, the service attitude is OK, and the hotel staff will pick you up to the lobby when you arrive at the hotel, and house keeping will also use bath towels to make small animals. The free water quality is average, and toothbrushes were not provided on the first day, so you need to take the initiative to ask for them.

GGuest UserA fantastic hotel in a good location - easy to get around Dubai from here either by taxi, car or the metro is only a few steps away. The hotel is beautifully designed from the lobby to the top floor pool and bar. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and with all the facilities you would expect. The beds were super comfy and the pillows and linen were great quality resulting in a fab nights sleep. The rooms are also soundproof so no noisy neighbours! The restaurant has a huge selection on offer for breakfast - great quality too. The roof top pool and bar was an awesome place to relax and have a drink, day or night.
The service from reception, concierge to the roof top bar was outstanding. Overall ,a fantastic holiday and a great place to stay - thank you.

AAnonymous UserCame back to same Staybridge suites after a cruise and got upgraded for one night stay before flying off. It’s a beautiful hotel, view on high levels are very good and metro is just downstairs. Convenience stores are on left and right of apartment. Many eateries and pharmacies along the whole stretch of road. Staff are courteous and helpful.

PPeaceAI recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel in Dubai Production City, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! The hotel's cleanliness, spacious rooms, and exceptional customer service made for a truly comfortable and enjoyable stay.

EEva G.After a disappointing stay earlier this week at another 4-star hotel in Tecom, I decided to try Novotel Al Barsha for the weekend, mainly because Swiss Butter Steakhouse is inside the hotel. My friend Hannah and I checked in with a mix of curiosity and hope for a better experience.
The hotel does seem busy, which contradicts what some other guests have said. To their credit, we were given our room right away at check-in. I had booked a Superior Twin Room and specifically requested a higher floor for a better view. I also accepted a smoking room, understanding the compromise, but the overwhelming smell of smoke in the hallway left me wondering: shouldn’t a 4-star hotel manage this better?
Upon entrance, to our surprise, we found a joined single bed instead of twins. We called reception, hoping to move rooms, but they offered to just separate the beds. Regret hit when we saw how small the single beds were! Honestly, if you’re tall or on the bigger side, this setup will not be comfortable—especially if you’re staying with friends or family. To add, the bed’s mattress clearly needed flipping, as there was an obvious slope that made it uncomfortable to sleep on.
Adding to the unfortunate, despite being on the 25th floor, there was no view to speak of—something we were really looking forward to. It felt like a missed opportunity, especially given the hotel’s location and our specific request for a high floor.
The bathroom was another letdown. The tissue holder was almost broken, the materials inside looked cheap, and the toilet bowl was not properly cleaned, with visible brown markings—pretty gross for a 4-star hotel. Thankfully, the bathtub was at least clean, so that was something.
On the bright side, the highlight of this hotel is definitely their spa and pool. We were given discount vouchers for Soul and Senses Spa, and my masseuse, Shatria, did a great job. The pool is a decent size and clean, while the sauna and steam room were perfect. The health club overall is the ace of this place.
For breakfast, I agree with other reviews—it’s decent. The restaurant was packed in the morning, but the vibe was good. However, they don’t escort guests to tables; you just find a seat yourself, which is fine but felt a bit unpolished.
One odd thing I noticed: while housekeeping did try their best to fulfill our requests—like providing coffee capsules and water—there was no creamer for the coffee and tea. Even 3-star hotels provide that, so it was a first for me (maybe it was just the standard).
Despite these minimal disappointments, I still try to see the positive side of this hotel and did my best to take decent photos that you may see for reference.
Overall, it seems like this hotel mainly caters to group tourists, which makes me wonder if they’re sacrificing quality for quantity. I hope they work on improving their services, including room quality, views, and attention to detail, so they can leave a better impression of Dubai for future guests.

HHaitham AlqamI had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. The check-in process was smooth, and I was impressed by the cleanliness and modern design of the lobby.
The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with everything I needed — comfortable bed, strong Wi-Fi, and a beautiful view. Housekeeping maintained the room perfectly every day.
One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet — a wide variety of fresh options, both local and international, served in a relaxing and stylish atmosphere.
The location was also ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation. I especially appreciated the quiet environment, which made for a restful night’s sleep.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality service, and a great experience. I will definitely return!
