We’ve just returned from a magnificent weekend at Blackrock B&B in Dublin, and I can honestly say it deserves every one of its five stars. From the moment we arrived, Jacquie and Norman made us feel completely at home. Their genuine warmth, thoughtful hospitality, and effortless kindness set the tone for a truly memorable stay. .Breakfast was superb, the rooms immaculate, and the atmosphere wonderfully relaxed. It’s rare to find hosts who strike the perfect balance between professionalism and genuine human warmth, but they achieve it with ease. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already talking about our next visit. A heartfelt thank-you to Jacquie and Norman for helping make our family reunion such a joyous occasion. Highly recommended—five stars without hesitation.

Fantastic guest house, family run, just had everything and more ! Friendly, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and amazingly freshly cooked breakfast , with fresh cut fruits and meat. Hosts couldn’t do enough for you, from the minute you arrived to a warm handshakes., till we left. Great location with dart station across the road. We shall definitely be back. Roscommon couple.

This is a wonderful B and B in a great location for visiting Dublin. It is just a short five minute walk to the Dart Station for a quick, 15 minutes, scenic ride into the heart of Dublin. We appreciate the kindness and care extended to us during our visit from a most gracious host family. The breakfasts were cooked to order to go along with many fresh fruits and cold breakfast items. We ate in a beautiful, natural light room overlooking a patio that could be from a magazine. We enjoyed Gleesons and Old Punch Bowl nearby. Our bed was comfy and we had an attached, modern bathroom. Highly recommend!

Blackrock B&B was our initial stop in Ireland. It was a little hard for us to find since we were still 'learning to drive' and navigate Dublin at the same time. The Dart station was 1 block away and the perfect spot to park our rental car. We were greeted by Jacui's son who carried our luggage up the stairs. He was very nice We had a lovely street side room with plenty of space and a great shower. Bootertown is a great base for getting around. I only wish we had stayed more than 1 night. We met Jacqui at breakfast - it did not disappoint. Plenty of delicious food, the scones are fabulous! It was so nice to meet people from all over at breakfast and trade suggestions on sightseeing. Jacqui took an interest in our plans and made excellent suggestions, including seeing the Cliffs of Moher earlier than planned due to incoming weather - and we are so glad we did! Blackrock will definitely be on our list when we return to Dublin! Thank you for starting us out so wonderfully first visit to Ireland!!

I stayed here at his week for two nights for a business trip I’m a seasoned traveller UK and Europe and this Delightful B and B is one of the best I’ve experienced Beautiful House and the hosts and their family made me feel right at home Nothing too much for them and the decor and small touches around the room were great Had a wonderful Irish breakfast cooked to order and the breakfast on offer whether full Irish or Continental could not be beaten The hosts Jacqui and Gerry are kind and helpful and I’ve no hesitation in giving five stars for their hospitality and goodwill I’ll definitely be back Kevin

Pur staying here was almost a family visit. Owner/Jacquie is such a friendly and helpgul person. I’ll come back one day. Her breakfasts were so tasty and house is big, quite and really clean. Also appreciate shots of Bailyes as welcome drink.
