Horrible is all I have to say!! We booked our stay several months in advance and received confirmation. When we arrived to the hotel after traveling for nearly 24 hours from the US, we were told that our reservation had been cancelled to house refugees. There was no notice given, and no offer of help to locate another place to stay. I fully support helping refugees and providing safe housing, but here we were with children, in a foreign country with no place to stay. If we would have been notified ahead of time, it would have been no problem and we would have happily rebooked elsewhere. After reading several reviews I see this wasnt the first time this happened. Stay away!!!

Zero is a more reflective score. I booked, the hotel offered free cancellation. I cancelled but craftily the free cancellation did not exist as they had already debited my account. They have not refunded me. My Place Dublin may offer cheap rates but if they have no honesty no integrity your belongings will not be safe if you stay here. You have been warned!!

I didn't get a chance to stay here because they cancelled my reservation last minute, leaving me with no options but to cancel my trip to Dublin because the only other options were too expensive. I paid £48 for two nights here, booked in advance. When they cancelled, the cheapest alternative was £250 in another hostel, for two nights. That is simply not affordable! They also said that the refund will be made in the next 3 months. Thank you for a ruined holiday and for losing the money I paid for flights!

Nice and simple, just stay way.... the worse place you can find in Dublin. Better to get a tent and camp in the park 😂😂... really bad. The only positive thing about this place is, the Brazilians working at the reception, really good people. The manager the biggest racist you can find 🤔....

Abbiamo scelto questo albergo per la nostra vacanza di tre giorni a Dublino, come posizione e ottima la colazione non posso giudicarla perché non l abbiamo fatta li. Qualcosa di negativo: la caraffa per il caffè all interno era un po’ sporca. Lo stile un po’ vecchiotta ma per il resto mi sono trovata bene

Onze kamer was een familiekamer, gelegen in de kelder. Je zat er echt "weggestopt". Wij hadden de kamer met vrienden geboekt, met kinderen lijkt het me vreselijk. Voor de prijs die we hebben betaald, zag de kamer er netjes uit, maar dat was het dan ook. Er is minimaal gepoetst, niet alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig, schimmel zat op de muren, muren vochtig, geen goede afzuiging, douche waardeloos, bedden doorgezakt (je ligt op de veren, hard bed), gaten van sigaretten in lakens terwijl het rookvrij is ontbijt vreselijk en in verhouding veel te duur; kortom geen aanrader. Enige positieve puntje was de ligging, redelijk op loopafstand van het centrum en met de bus dichtbij het vliegveld. Personeel was ook vriendelijk.

Pagué por habitación de hotel por 3 noches por 400+€ y podría haber tirado el dinero perfectamente. Subir las maletas fue horroroso (no se ofrecen a ayudarte tampoco), la habitación olía a tabaco y la cama estaba hundida por dentro, el colchón más fino que el papel de fumar. La ventana sólo se abría un poquito y la cornisa estaba toda llena de polvo. Habían arañas en el techo. Te obligan a dejar las llaves cada vez que sales y pedirla cada vez que entras. La segunda mañana que salí a dejar las llaves, el manager y la recepcionista se rieron de mí en mi cara por algún motivo (?). Tampoco limpian la habitación ni una sola vez. Al dejar la habitación, el manager fue súper antipático, me quería cobrar más. No os quedéis aquí, que no os engañen.

Für den Preis von fast 300€/Nacht ohne Frühstück bekamen wir ein sehr abgewohntes Zimmer im 5. Stock ohne Aufzug, das nur über die sehr schmalen Treppen zu erreichen war. Türschloss nicht gerade vertrauenswürdig, Fenster nicht zu schließen da Griff kaputt, sehr kleines Waschbecken und enge Dusche. Immerhin war es relativ sauber, das Frühstück war jetzt nicht erwähnenswert. Zum Schlafen hat es gereicht aber würde hier wohl nicht mehr buchen.
