Accommodation did not contact us that 40 plus male asylum seekers living in tents directly outside our window looking into our room or loitering directly beneath our window definitely not safe we left no apology not safe for women AVOID !!!!

Leeson Bridge Guesthouse isn’t anything like I was expecting as an Australian travelling abroad, it was quirky, strange even! A sauna in the room, a spa bath, eclectic furnishings, cluttered but we loved it and will definitely stay there again. Great location and walking distance to Dublin. Super friendly hosts. I have to give this property 5-stars and a recommendation to one and all.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It was well-priced and an easy walk to all the major attractions and restaurants. We stayed in the sauna room, which was huge! It was so cool to have our own personal sauna. We also had a big jacuzzi tub. The bed was fine for two people and we each had our own bedside table, which didn’t happen in the other Irish hotels that we stayed in during this trip. We booked this room for four nights and we would definitely stay here again. As others have noted, there isn’t a full breakfast spread - it’s coffee, water, juice and toast or cereal. But honestly, that’s what we eat for breakfast at home! It was enough to get us moving for the day.

We stayed here two different times. First was 3 nights, May 16-18, 2023 and again May 29, 2023 for one night. We enjoyed everything about the stay and had a room with a balcony both times. Both rooms had a fireplace (just for looks), a table with two comfy chairs and a king size bed. The walkout balcony was great for fresh air. The staff here are all wonderful, helpful and friendly people. The location is very nice right along the canal and very easy walking distance to St. Stephens Green and attractions. What is not top notch is the simple continental breakfasts, the elevator does not go to all floors. There is no AC in the rooms and they can get quite stuffy. We had to run a small table fan the entire time. Finally, the bathroom shower is quite small and when pulling the shower curtain, the sink is inside the shower... I know weird. If you have a car, parking is very limited (about 5 small cars fit). We did not have a car, so that was not an issue for us. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

On our roundtrip through Ireland we only stayed 1 night here and there is nothing to complain about. Friendly welcome from the receptionist, clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, fair price. We slept well and felt comfortable here. As we had to get to the airport early, we had no breakfast, so I can't evaluate it. Bus and aircoach stop right in front of the hotel. Quiet neighborhood and idyllic to walk along the Grand Canal. About 1/2 hour walk to Temple Bar Pub. We would have enjoyed to stay longer.

I stayed mid-week at Leeson Bridge guest house and I very much enjoyed my stay. My room was very spacious and included a fridge, balcony with city views and gas fire. The staff are very friendly and when I did have to make a complaint it was dealt with in a satisfactory manner. The hotel is located in a lovely area of Dublin with good transport links and local places to shop and eat. On the downside, there is very limited parking and the water pressure in the shower left a lot to be desired. I would stay again quite happily.
