Highlight- Thomas Street

Affordable clean accommodation. Bedrooms had plenty of storage space and the bathroom was a good size with a decent shower. However, the accommodation was chosen for some of the facilities it advertised. As we were a hen party we wanted to spend time together and all in one room would have been too crowded so having a communal area was a great extra for us. Also advertised was kitchen facilities and hairdryer in each room. When we arrived there was a sign on the kitchen door informing us staff use only and that the communal area was also out of bounds. When we questioned why we were informed it was student use only. If this was the case then there needs to be an amendment on the description as it could be classed as false advertising. We requested hairdryers for 2 rooms. After 24 hours we asked again and then only 1 could be found. Passing it from room to room wasn’t ideal as that delayed timings for us to get out and about. Good accommodation if you just wanted a base but let down by the extras that weren’t available.m
