Last minute one night trip to Dublin for work and this was within walking distance and the most reasonably priced against the other hotels, paying €182 for a room. Didn't arrive until 8.30pm and checked in easily at the bar. Unfortunately they did not do any food so we ordered in a take away, which we had in our rooms but the pub gave us knives and forks. The pub was really well laid out and designed inside, loads of room between tables and just the general decor. First pub I have walked into in a long time and it felt like a proper pub. Service was great, could not fault it. Had some good beers on tap and had a Lamp pale ale which was very fresh and far too easy to drink. There was a TV screen, but it wasn't loud. The hotel rooms were upstairs and the one I had was big enough for me with a view over the harbour. Nice bathroom with a shower that had excellent power. We did not go out and we left first thing the next morning so unsure if it's location would be good for all the sites in town, regardless if I was going again to Dublin I would look here first for a room.
