The Trail's End

We booked a room on the river. These rooms had been closed for the winter so we had a small standard room in middle of complex. No notification was given prior to arrival.

The room was in good condition but expect a significant charge above and beyond the room rate!

The staff was wonderful! If air conditioning is important, there wasn't any in my room. It was fine for mid September.

The motel was on the river & had a great deck for viewing. The person checking us in was attentive. The room was clean. However, in this tech age you need more electrical outlets. Also, new outlets! The bathroom appears to have been added. Thus the shower was so small you couldn’t turn around & there was no light.

Deck is A++++ Rooms are clean and bed was comfortable, we stayed at the end of September and our room had NO air conditioner, so wonder what it would be like in the summer? The deck by the river is wonderful ! We give that a A++++

The rooms are small! And don’t pay extra for the “river view”. I like the place and would stay again because of location, but it’s also the only place that wasn’t sold out…..take that for whatever it means. I think the owners let family members sleep in vacant rooms????

Great location but otherwise small I chose this hotel because of its location with deck seating overlooking the Wind River. That part was perfect! We also enjoyed walking to town, which was close and convenient. The room was adequate but the bathroom was uncomfortably laid out. My husband and I are fairly regular sized people and had to squeeze between the sink and small shower to access the toilet. Anyone even slightly overweight wouldn't fit! The walls were thin and though our neighbors were quiet, we could hear almost everything.

We paid for water view room online, when we got there they told us there aren’t any water view rooms and we would not be reimbursed the difference in cost.

Great stay Great little motel outside the park. Much more affordable. Staff was amazing and very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and exactly what we needed.
