Although the room is not very large, it is relatively clean and tidy. The only drawback is that there is no small refrigerator. In summer, it may be troublesome (the hotel staff will deliver ice to the room if necessary). The terrace is relatively large, and the pool size of the river view room is OK. Great! The welcome fruit was delivered, and the floating breakfast can be booked in advance at the front desk. All in all, the environmental service is excellent! This hotel is beautiful, to be sure, but if you’re not from China your stay might be less than relaxing. The staff don’t speak English, which is unheard of for an international hotel in a popular tourist destination. The service is bad for the most part. At breakfast, you’ll be hard-pressed to find any cutlery. The staff, for lack of English, cannot explain where any of their facilities are. The map in the hotel room leaves little to no indication where the myriad of restaurants are. The operating times of the amenities are markedly different from that in the hotel’s booklet, times will vary depending on which staff member you ask. The hot springs are incredible and beautiful but is marred by the many shrieking children. No staff have asked anyone to be more quiet, given it’s meant to be a medical hot spring bath. Parents are unbothered by kids jumping on sofas, climbing walls and yelling and pointing at foreigners. Staff are equally ignorant. The hotel shuttle will take you to the foot of the Qingcheng front mountain. The hot springs are free to use. The breakfast is all Chinese but they have croissants and fried eggs.
