My friend strongly recommended this hotel for my Dujiangyan trip, and I can see why! The ambiance is comfortable and the service is excellent. They have a popular afternoon tea and dining, so if you don't book or show up early, you really won't get a table. If you come and don't want to leave, just stay the night! I love the feeling of having a lake view right outside my window. I even switched from a family room to a terrace room and now I have a 'blue tear' view and natural white noise from the flowing water. It's so nice!

I stayed at the Hidden Cloud Inn, drawn by its reputation, and the stunning river view certainly lived up to expectations. Opening the window reveals the flowing Min River, and in the evening, you can watch for the 'blue tears' night view – the environment is serene and cool. The room's cleanliness was excellent, and the bedding was soft, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Dining by the river offered a fantastic ambiance, and the local home-style dishes were fresh and delicious. I enjoyed sitting in the tea corridor, sipping tea and feeling the breeze. The service throughout my stay was attentive and thoughtful. It’s an excellent getaway to escape the city's hustle and bustle.

Dujiangyan in August was still a bit warm, but staying at Hermit Riverside, it was noticeably cooler than other areas. I chose this hotel for its environment, and my expectations were met – it was indeed excellent. My husband and child both loved it. All the amenities were good, and the hygiene was meticulous; there wasn't a speck of dust on the furniture. The blackout curtains were perfect for me, as I dislike sleeping with any light. Dining by the river was a treat; their chef is quite good. The dry-braised bean paste fish was delicious and went perfectly with rice. It's also super convenient, only a ten-minute walk to Nanqiao. This is exactly the kind of hotel you want for a relaxing vacation.

The service and cleanliness were impeccable, much more welcoming than your average business hotel. It's so good, you can even skip the crowded South Bridge area.

The stay felt relaxed and comfortable, making it ideal for those looking to slowly savor their trip to Dujiangyan.

The room was clean and well-equipped with smart devices. The host was incredibly warm, friendly, and thoughtful! They even turned on the air conditioning before our arrival, knowing we were checking in soon. Typically, breakfast starts at 8:00 AM, but we needed to leave for Panda Valley by 8:00 AM that day. We mentioned this to the host the night before, and they started preparing our breakfast at 7:30 AM, which was incredibly considerate. The room was riverside, and sitting on the balcony at night, listening to the rushing water, was like a very therapeutic white noise. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Thank you to the host! 🌹
