Our stay in the Four Seasons Private Hot Spring King Room truly exceeded expectations. The 60-square-meter space was incredibly spacious and relaxing. The entire room had a warm and soothing natural wood aesthetic. The soft 1.8-meter king-size bed, the tatami tea nook by the window, and the warm yellow lighting created a wonderfully atmospheric and therapeutic setting, perfect for capturing beautiful photos. But the real highlight was the private hot spring on our independent balcony. As night fell and covered the mountains, soaking in the warm spring water, looking up at the starry sky, and listening to the chirping insects and the wind in the mountains, I felt completely enveloped by the gentle wilderness. All my worries just melted away.

First off, the environment is absolutely stunning! We booked a room without a private hot spring, and as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a huge floor-to-ceiling window offering breathtaking views of the lush Mount Qingcheng. You could easily spend a whole day just sitting there, listening to music and enjoying the scenery (I imagine the rooms with private hot springs offer an even better experience, definitely something to try next time). The complimentary snacks and fresh fruits in the room were delicious, and in the evening, they even brought us a wonderfully prepared tremella soup! The room's aromatherapy diffuser had a lovely, subtle, sweet, and not-too-overpowering scent. There were also sleeping eye masks by the bed, which made for a very comfortable sleep after hiking. The bathroom amenities were from the Acqua di Parma range – a big plus! The only minor drawback was that the shower water was only lukewarm, not super hot (I personally prefer really hot water), but surprisingly, the sink water was very hot… The breakfast service was excellent; they brought whatever you wanted directly to your table. The ambiance was beautiful and not crowded. Next to the front desk, there was an area for making sachets and practicing calligraphy, and near the guest rooms, there was a gym that I peeked into but didn't enter. Both the facilities and decor were very modern. It's a shame it rained a bit, otherwise, sitting outside on the chairs and breathing in the fresh air would have been incredibly relaxing. The pictures are all of the hotel's interior, but the real views are even more beautiful than my photos! Mount Qingcheng is truly perfect for a relaxing getaway and a breath of fresh air.

Went during a low season. The hotel was virtually empty except for us, but the staff remained professional. The rooms were a slight letdown on a few points - BUT overall it was extremely enjoyable and downright luxurious in other areas. Overall, a definite recommend. We had a great stay and a great time. Amazing - it's a working tea farm. We woke early to pluck tea leaves for the experience (free but worth 68 yuan) and if you collect enough you can take it to the tea master to then experience frying the tea in a wok to turn the fresh leaves into dry green tea. The tea sachets in the rooms are made by the hotel themselves and taste great. More free experiences are included with the stay, including tea brewing classes and wearing hanfu. I thought it to be incredibly value for money. The private onsen is great and came with a homemade herbal pouch to throw in for a medicinal bath. The rooms are spacious with an excellent view - and I MUST commend the incredible number of light switches which let you have any combination of light ambience. Minor letdowns - mosquitoes will come to you at the alfresco area during mealtimes, I would sit indoors next time. We also had to run the shower for a long while before hot water could come out. The charging sockets are a little iffy with lots of dust in the sockets and some outlets might not be working depending on your luck. The standard sockets mostly work but USB sockets might not. The smart W/C is also slightly malfunctioning but largely works as intended.
