Coast Wise Hotel Dumaguete

We enjoyed our overnight stay here. It’s nearby the port and we love their cafe down the road it’s called Lazy Cup — the food and dessert are delicious. The staffs were all very friendly and accommodating. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended. 🙂

The location of the hotel is close to the pier, walking distance to rizal boulevard and siliman university  if you wanna stroll around the city. The hotel is new, staff were nice and friendly, rooms were big enough to stay for 4 people in 1 room, comfy beds, bathroom was good size and worth the money. 

Great friendly staff and clean Motel format rooms. Don’t expect a lot of luxury as rooms are small.

I chose this hotel because itnis one of the newest hotels in dumaguete. It is a few mins walk to the center of it all and to the port area. The checkin was fast and we booked for 2 rooms. The room was clean and bathroom had the essential toothbrush, shower gel, shampoo and hand soap. There was also a buffet in the hotel which had a good variety of local food and I especially liked their budbod. Service was very good with assistance from the front desk if you need a tricycle going out. The main location isn't safe according to locals which is why they asked us to refrain from walking at night, even to a nearby 711 as there are many drug ******* in the area. Since it was Valentines Day, we ate at the hotel restaurant and service was really bad! It was a small resto at the top and looks like they were not prepared for celebrations that night. Our food came in an hour and 15 mins and we were so hungry, they gave desserts first before the main course. Took a while to serve drinks and we have been constantly following up. The kitchen is in the lower floor so maybe getting the orders up and down added to the time. The food was really good but the service can be improved. The morning breakfst buffet have flies flying everywhere that they should take care of. Overall the hotel can be improved. They dont have any hotel service going to and from airport but they have a travel agency out in the front in case you want any local spots. There is also a coffee shop in the front if you want to order coffee.
