I chose the hotel because it will accommodate a family of 4 and you can add an extra folding bed. The receptionist was very friendly, cheerful, helpful and very accommodating. The room was big with 2 queen size beds. Yummy free breakfast. Lots of variety to choose from. Negative : You walk up the stairs. It’s a bit much if you are carrying a suitcase. But noisy at night , you can hear the noise of the cars. Highly recommended in Dumaguete.

They served a great breakfast. The restaurant staff and hotel staff were very friendly. The rooms and hallways were meticulous and decorated nicely. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants the best hotel experience in Dumaguete. It was also on a quiet street really close to the airport.

As a regular staying at Essentia in Dumaguete, Charos dormitel is a breath of fresh air !! Outstanding room, staff, restaurant and not so many guests (not crowded like Essentia) ! I agree with other travelers reviews now ! This was a 5 star experience for one night stay. Definitely will return in the near future😀

The room is big with a welcoming feeling and the AC is cold. Elite cabin coordinated furnishing are very nice all through out the facility. Interior is very cozy and provides a homey feeling as one walks leisurely through the hallway. Free breakfast. The diner is well set-up with beautiful indoor plants giving a relaxing, comfortable and empowering ambiance. Though a bit noisy specially for light sleepers, this can be remedied by using heavy drapes in the room. A bit far from the beach and the city proper which is not a problem since public transportation “pedicab” is readily available or one can easily rent a motorcycle. The place is highly recommended.

I really like the staff. I’ve got to know them over the years that I’ve been coming here and the restaurant is excellent.

The cleanest hotel that we have been to in the Philippine.The staff are truly accomodating and as they represent of what the people in Dumaguete are well known for " most gentle people ". Dining experience including the complimentary breakfast was top -notch for the food quality and taste .This hotel is highly recommendable.
