The hotel belongs to a private cottage style, which feels like home. It is considered a noble villa area in the local area, because it passes through many relatively simple villages along the way. The second time this time, as soon as the doorman at the entrance of the hotel asked for the right name, he gave the key directly to us without a deposit. When checking out, he gave the key to the waiter or security guard and left. People feel kind and trusted! !! The ferry terminal from Dumaguete City is about 35 minutes from the hotel and the airport is about 20 minutes from the hotel. Hotel positioning is fairly accurate. The hotel has two floors, and each floor has a suite, a living room and an open kitchen. There are also a lot of tableware and several cooking pots and rice cookers in the kitchen. It is really convenient. When we come back to buy food, we are like cooking at home, so happy to eat with friends on the balcony! (Please see the picture) There is a large bathroom in the independent suite. If there is a large balcony on the second floor, lying on the sofa on the balcony, you can also listen to music, play games, and see the pool and garden. We booked a room for two rooms and it was awesome! The hotel is about four or five buildings, so there are few people and it is very quiet. My husband and I brought a son of 14 this time and did not collect extra money, and there was an additional small room in the room for children. The only pick is that the hotel does not provide breakfast, but you can make your own breakfast! There is a small convenience store in front of the hotel. Everything is still full. You can sell all kinds of oil, salt, sauce and vinegar! The final conclusion is: leisure vacation is very good, cost-effective!

I love this hotel. i have stayed here now many many times, and i have NEVER had a bad experience, so i thought i would finally write a DESERVED GOOD review. The Hotel is placed right at the heart of Dumaguete, everything you would want is with a few mins of the hotel, the hotel also provides trips to some of the popular tourist attractions. The rooms are always clean and fresh with daily room service, but in my opinion the only thing that lets the rooms down are the showers which sadly could do with more maintenance as often they are faulty in some way and poorly kept looking, but they still provide good supply of hot water. I have stayed in all of the rooms they offer, from their suite to the standard rooms, and all show the same levels of cleanliness and the rooms always feel welcoming. Free breakfast is provided and the restaurant is good and the food well cooked and presented , the hotel provides a full range of pampering service if you require some self indulgence. The staff are ALWAYS friendly polite professional and on hand for any reason and will always make you feel important and a valued guest. I have in all my stays at this Hotel had only ever had one problem which was dealt with professionally, immediately and satisfactorily,. This hotel is ALWAYS my first choice when i visit Dumaguete, and will continue to be so They have plenty of rooms and even as a walk in, i have never been turned away from being fully booked, Its always a pleasure staying here.... Staff was very friendly and genuine. Breakfast was also really great with 3 options (continental, American and Filipino). There was also possible to adjust a bit like stronger coffee, less baked bacon or 1 egg only. Furniture and decoration is also very beautiful. I also really appreciated the cleaning staff to put of their shoes/slipper when entering the room for cleaning. If I can make a few improvements it is. Bed cover was only 1 sheet. A blanket or a more thick bed cover would be nice. More variety in fridge like cola, diet coke or sprite More punctual in coffee sachets refills and towels (if one is on the ground placed for replacement. But overall it was good value for money Staff always smiled and was friendly. Location is also great. Close to boulevard and 50’meter swimming pool is only 20’minutes walking distance. Don’t forget to give the small local restaurants a try. I really enjoyed the Dumaguete experience also because of you 🙏

The location of the hotel is far from the city centre of Dumaguete, but it is close to the apo island where the turtles are seen, about a fifteen-minute tutu ride. There is no commercial area around, there is no place to go shopping, you can only spend time in the hotel ~ the hotel is near the sea, the next step can reach the seaside hotel, the environment is very good, the facilities are beautiful and clean; There is a swimming pool to play with, the hotel staff is very warm, and the dining is delicious. I want to focus on the boss's homemade ”Chili Ginger Honey Water” (Figure 2). This is the name I gave it. Hahahaha, really unique and very good to drink! The local weather was very hot. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, the boss gave us a cup of wine. After a sip, I fell in love with it. It was so hot and so hot that we had a few drinks every day for two days at the hotel. Haha, really great! Unfortunately, I forgot to ask the boss how to make it. I came back and tried to make it up, but I always felt that I didn’t mean anything. For a 5 star hotel, it doesn’t seem like it is and definitely not worth the price. -Poor amenities (Example, they offer a small thin bar of soap as a body wash. Why wouldn’t they offer liquid body wash? Also, some towels were overused) -They clean the rooms/bathrooms and change your towels after 3 days instead of everyday. There’s no pandemic anymore so why not clean the rooms everyday?! -Good food, but not enough choices for breakfast (Why wouldn’t pancakes be included in the options?Also, the coffee doesn’t taste good - strong and burnt tasting) -Nice staff, but they need more training: ＞Food Service is slow and inefficient. During breakfast and lunch, our food were served after hours of waiting. Some of our orders came incorrectly (not what we ordered). ＞Disorganize and lack in system. ＞They lack in staff both at the front desk and Sans rival Cafe. -They will charge you if you don’t return all your keycards. If this was a true 5 star hotel, you wouldn’t charge your guests for something cheap and disposable. Overall, our stay was ok (big rooms and nice pool), but lacking in amenities and training of staff. There are more cons than pros. Whoever owns this hotel seems like they are saving too much on costs. Never going to stay in any of the Henry Hotels in the Philippines.

We originally planned to stay at another hotel but it was full so we decided to try Henia. Overall it’s been a good experience and I think this is probably the best option in Dumaguete, which for some reason has a very limited selection of hotels. The good: - The rooms are reasonably sized. They only had twin rooms when we booked. While they are basic, they are up to date, clean and reasonably roomy - The bathroom is decent quality, with expected amenities such as shampoo, toothbrush kits, etc. The shower is spacious. - The wall air conditioner works well - They bring the included breakfast to your room. You choose from a number of Filipino options each day. There is no western breakfast option. - Everyone I have dealt with has been friendly and helpful - The elevator, which is a rarity in Dumaguete hotels, is decent sized and very smooth The not so good: - There is a lot of traffic noise - The water pressure is not great - The internet is not strong. It’s virtually impossible to even upload things - The key card is very touchy, so it takes a long time to get the door open Overall, given the other options, I would recommend this hotel

The whole hotel is very nice, just a little small, only 9 rooms, for 26 guests. But the room is large, the hotel is quiet, the holiday is very comfortable, the pool is small, breakfast is average. Diving (three times the market price) and calling a car are relatively expensive, and the restaurant is slightly more expensive than the outside. All service staff are very good. But I don't understand it. It's a good hotel. The road into the hotel turned out to be a few hundred meters long country bumpy road. It was so boring that every time you take a TUTU car, you must be dizzy. The kitchen is good, but I think it's a display, because if you use the kitchen for 100US/day, it won't cost you a lot of food at any restaurant outside.

Although the hotel is not very close to the dock, the boss is a German, the environment is comfortable and clean, the staff inside is really good, the people are particularly good and special and responsive, the hotel meal tastes good. We came back from Oslob because of the next night's flight. Because there is no place for the Duma to go, after checking out, the hotel is still outside the room for an afternoon to take a bath and eat. The trip to the Philippines has lived in three hotels. The rooms were very, very small. There was noise from people walking and being loud in the hallway at random times during the night, which woke me up. Also, our room didn't lock. They offer free breakfast (choice bud-bud or toast), but the bud-bud wasn't available and the toast isn't much. Wifi didn't work during the evening/night. We didn't mind this but all in all I feel like it wasn't worth the price. However, the atmosphere seemed nice and laidback. Couches, books, art, etc. (Hoping they will get rid of the very small fish tank though)

The hotel is furnished! Very warm, the front desk staff is super nice! Help call the dive shop, there is no extra charge for check-out time! Say I don't need to pay other expenses, of course ~ some tips were given later! The room was cleaned very well. Although I know I live alone, I will give 2 bath towels to the airport free of charge every day! !! I also printed my name for signboard! !! It's really good. If you go to Dumaguete, you should go here! There is a large supermarket opposite the hotel and a restaurant next to it. It is very convenient to eat and take a taxi. It is only 6 minutes away from the airport and is very convenient.

We stayed only overnight at this unique beautiful botique hotel as we have to fly the following day to Manila . We were immediately greeted by a very special and charming lady by the name of February, very sweet and charming ! Welcome drink was really timely after 1 hour ride from Zambuanquita where we had our hotel for the Apo island diving the night before. What makes this hotel special is how friendly and accommodating the staff were, not to mention the Philippine hut style “igloo” & beautiful interior design.The role model for how to “treat” a guest is the GM & Operations Manager, Marlon Navarro. I am a Filipino expat who had lived over 40 years in Europe and just on a diving & golf safari with my buddy but I have never seen an “over the top” hospitality from a hotel manager. Marlon answered all our enquiries including where to have a nice dinner, bar to hang out, sightseeing and spa. For spa, don’t miss the hotel spa especially with Jess - one of my best massages in the Philippines. Also, as Marlon noticed that I have an Austrian guest who is a little bit inquisitive about the area, brought us even by himself to the Boulevard as my friend is quite tall for a “tuktuk” (our local Tricicle). I wish UNWND all the success in the world and without a doubt, with Marlon under it’s helm, it will be the top hotel in Dumaguete in due time. Thank you so much for this “unusual “ experience! Not too sure what to expect, even though the reviews were all positive. As others ha e mentioned, common areas and rooms are all furnished in quality mainly antique furniture, collected by the owner on his travels. The rooms have very comfortable beds, hot water for the shower and polite and attentive staff. We booked 3 rooms for our family and all were of a good quality, far better than others we have stayed in that cost far more. When we are in the area again we will definitely stay again.

During the Spring Festival, I came to Duma Gai to travel. The hotel is scheduled to be mentioned by the Raiders. It is said to be a Chinese boss. It is convenient for communication.
