Seams Like Home B&B

After booking, Donna called me to confirm my stay and ask my arrival time. I appreciated it. It was a cold day with a temperature dropping to below 30 degrees. Taking bath in the big bathtub kept me warm all night even without heater. The heater was noisy when operating. Thus, it was good I took a warm bath and shut off the heater.

We liked it that you were flexible in regard to our schedule for arrival and breakfast in the morning. Thank you.

Quaint getaway in the midst of historic Appalachia On a trip to do family and historical research with my husband. The entire property was quaint, and the interior rooms were spotless. Donna and Rick were wonderful hosts- making delicious breakfasts each morning. Also wonderful to end the day of hiking in the wet conditions in front of a roaring fire in the firepit, ducks in the pond, and crickets and treefrogs singing.

Really did seem like home! We didn’t realize this was so rural. But it was really only a short drive to a restaurant. We needed to leave early for a bicycle tour and they were so accommodating serving us breakfast very early. The room was pretty, clean and comfortable. Properly named as it did seem like home.

Needless to say the facilities and location were quite nice, but the one thing that really stood out was the delightfulness of the owners and the other people who chose to spend some time at the B&B.

You need to check it out if in the area Super clean and owners were available the whole time we were there. Plus it was decorated with great taste. And breakfast was amazing. Even though we only stayed one night, we saw them often
