Along the main road. Hotel ia cheap and value for money. No facilities but hotel provides free coffee and cereal and apple. Is okay if just stay for a night.

This is an old motel that is in need of refurbishment. Our room was small. The room mini-fridge freezer worked well. Usually freezers in hotel mini-fridges aren’t any colder that the fridge. The shower had volume control which is a nice feature. The breakfast selection was very limited.

This OVER-PRICED Motel advertises a HOT BREAKFAST and it does NOT deliver, unless you consider one Belgium Waffle maker a hot breakfast. This is a $80 caliber Motel charging $130 only because they can. But for the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge RR, this place would go bust. The train trip is well worth the visit, but suggest you stay elsewhere for the price. The Young man on the Desk during the day and afternoon was a true delight and is eager to be helpful. Im sure if he treid, he could get a better paying job with real advancement opportunity. The room was marginally clean. The bath tube was not. We were there two nights. It was cleaner after we showred! There is NO nightstand on the left side of the bed. The A/C is an old window unit place high onto a wall over the bath vanity. A bit noisy but it worked. The location is two mile from downtown and the train station. An easy commute.

This hotel was a good price…and had a good location. It served the purpose for the one night that we needed it. If needed in the future…we would most likely select this same hotel and also use it as a recommendation to others. Thank you for being just what we needed at the right time.

Booked this Motel through *******. Within 10 minutes of booking the room someone from the Motel called my cellphone, with all of my reservation information, telling me a $500 cash deposit is required at check in to stay there. They said it is their “local resident policy” even though I don’t live in Colorado. He tried to reassure me I would get the $500 cash back at checkout. Looking at their website and Expedias listing, this “policy” is not written anywhere. They then told me I could not stay there without the $500 cash deposit even though I had paid for my reservation in full online already.

I’m only commenting on the fact that this motel tacked on a $200 cash only security deposit when I tried to check in. No mention of this was made when I received my paid in full reservation confirmation. Hardly a “good value” considering the additional fee.

This motel does not live up to its name or brand, Quality Inn. It was a gem of a place to stay about five years ago, but apparently changed management since then. There are no amenities. It is dirty and run down. The parking lot feels unsafe, and I was continually concerned that my car would be broken into or hit. There is a lot of street noise making it difficult to sleep. Do not book for more than one night at a time. If you decide to leave early, even when giving 24 hour notice, you will be charged whatever extra fees they can get away with charging you. It is more than worth paying a little extra to stay at a nice hotel. This is not it!

I’m here on business with my company and have stayed for multiple weeks (not my choice, my employer booked this god awful place) and have been harassed by employees, there are bugs in the rooms and no hot water when I get back from working a 10 hour shift. STAY AWAY FROM HERE! Not only will they treat you poorly but they threaten you as well! If I could rate negative I would. Don’t book here! I literally get rooms at the Baymont to get away from this hell hole! Heed my warning this place is a trash can ran by trash can people!

The Quality Inn is 2-miles northwest of center city, and located across a side street from the Animas River. It was comfortable and clean for our one-night stay. The property is older, and large, with more than building. There are outside stairs and walkways on the upper floors, but no elevator. Parking is in front of one’s room. Dogs are the only pets welcome and they stay with a fee. Breakfast is not included.

The bugs are terrible. I don't think they clean the rooms. Smelled like pine car freshener. Gentleman at front desk is courteous but unfortunately nothing he can do. Looking at other reviews, seems this has been going on for a while, maybe it's only certain rooms?

Disgusting … from the heavy chlorox smell to the bathroom that makes you want to vomit, disgusting pretty much sums it up. If I could have gotten my money back I would have happily slept in my car. Go elsewhere.

Room had a strong chemical smell that penetrated everything including our clothes. Outdated fixtures in bathroom that required coaxing to take a shower. Very small and cramped parking lot. Don’t plan on eating breakfast here - very limited selection. Overall, just a tired old little motel that owners have unsuccessfully tried to dress up to meet modern standards.

Was planning on staying closer to town at Adobe Hotel but owner overbooked and tried to cram us into a garret above the office with a tiny bed and a room so small the door hit the bed when you opened it. Arriving at so-called Quality Inn, we were sent to room 222. No carpeting, fake wood flooring. Two queen beds, although we booked and paid for a king-sized bed. The towels were all stained, coarse and uncomfortable. There was food on cushion of the "easy chair". The curtains had holes in them. The swimming pool had been filled in (see photo), and the web page still shows the hotel having a swimming pool. Unfortunately, there does not appear to be any interest in the owner of this property to be truthful of a good host.

The parking is a nightmare. I’m disabled and I couldn’t find a parking place except for one in another building. The parking is a narrow alley and difficult to maneuver. There are about 30 motorcycles and each took up one parking space. The swimming pool is not a pool. It’s filled with dirt! The bikers decided to throw a party at the dirt pool at 10 o’clock playing loud music and my room happened to be right next to the diet pool. It cost me nearly $200.00 on a weeknight for two people with a discount. Im disgusted.

We booked a room online but when we arrived they had the wrong date, the front desk helped us with a room, but we had to pay with a credit card, but in turn the canceled date was still charged to my card to. Will never stay here again.
