Downtown Backpackers Hostel Perth - note - Valid Passport required for check in

Great location in the heart of the the city. I walked to Optus Stadium for Metallica. I did have a private room but the bathroom was communal, I didnt have any issues waiting. Friendly staff, good value.

The room was really dirty. There were no housekeeping. We had to make the bed ourselves. People kept on touching all night They were no curtain, but only I do not protector on top of the window I wouldn’t never stay again

Booked this place for 7 nights, air con in the room was bad, wifi constantly disconnected. The bedding didn't feel/smell clean and could be updated. The rooms themselves were dirty, floor was a mess and the rooms advertised in pictures was nowhere near the standard of room that we got. Constant noise from outside and the common area meant we couldn't sleep still 2am, as our room was directly next door to common room, and seating area outside the window. We eventually checked out early after 3 nights after finding a cockroach in our bedroom, and ants on my bedding. No food or drink was kept in the bedroom. Staff were friendly, and in ideal location close to CBD, however the whole place felt dirty, uncomfortable and I would not recommend staying here.
