We were given the wrong room key. Staff at the counter were not as attentive as one would hope. One lady was nice but the male was rather rude and dismissive about the mixup. The room was outdated, it was raining and the bathroom was flooded with the roof leaking all over the bathroom bench and into the tissue box. One of the electrical sockets did also not work. The food was average we had dinner and breakfast. There was a mix up in the breakfast booking I had made. Twice I needed to show my online booking to prove what I had booked. Was very disappointing as it was a trip for my birthday.

The location of the room was great -ground. Plenty of available parking spots. I left early in the morning and discovered the gate into parking area was locked so you exist through the reception area which was good security for guests and the safety of your car.The guy at reception was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and simple but caters for a travellers needs. You receive what you pay for & not everyone can afford over $100 a night & stay elsewhere.The water pressure in the shower was very good with hot water. But unfortunately the mattress was hard to sleep on and the pillows were like bricks. Take your own pillows!

We always stop here when we come to Perth. The service is great, all the staff are really friendly, check in is quick and efficient. It really is 5 star service at a cost a lot cheaper than other places. The hotel is old, but you can see that they are working hard to make the place as good as I imagine it was when it first opened. The rooms are always clean and tidy and the food and beverage service is of good quality..and again..very cheap. I've been coming here for a long time now, and these guys are going from strength to strength on every visit. Really happy staying here and it's so conveniently located on Northbridge for all the restaurants and bars. The secure parking is just $15 per night in a locked garage, and this is a massive plus to be able to leave your car there while enjoying the city. So..to summarise. Great place, great service, value for money and in an excellent location. What more do you need? Thanks guys..good job

Had a really great stay in Hostel G during my solo trip to Perth! Loved that there is a lounge outside where you can chill at during late nights and even a huuge shared kitchen area (just felt that the kitchen cleanliness needs to be improved)! People there are really friendly & I’m so glad to meet new friends there. Location may be slightly dangerous for solo travellers as it gets pretty dark at night so try not to stay too late when you’re out!

Fantastic stay!! Highly recommend for all. Service second to none. Everyone was super friendly and helpful - even to the point of getting me a bandaid for my sore feet from my shoes. Beds super comfy. Can watch TV from the bath. Wish I had more pics of the rooms to show but they were clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back for more. Also recommend the Junction Bar and grill for reasonable priced good quality and quantity food!! Treat yourself.

Had a four night stay here early in the month. Check in was smooth. Room on 12th floor spacious and clean. It’s possibly in need of a “facelift”. The room was pretty tired. Especially the bathroom. Not the Novotel spec I was expecting. Staff were friendly enough. No dramas there. The restaurant was closed which was disappointing so we used the adjoining Irish pub. Food was ok. The other disappointing thing was the gym and spa were closed the whole time I was there. I was disappointed the staff didn’t inform of this when booking or at check in. It was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. As a Diamond member this was poor. Would use again if in the area.

Hotel location is very good, the airport bus goes directly to the nearby, the nearest bus stop is 5 minutes walk (in the familiar case, not familiar with the navigation is no more than 15 minutes, IQ is too low exception). The hotel has a depository, 15 minutes walk from the central station, the room is very spacious, about 30 square meters, as usual, there is no toothbrush slippers, the whole is clean, the night is quiet, the bed is too soft, there are two Chinese restaurants around, said inside In Chinese, there is a people's commune that goes a little further. There is a supermarket nearby, just waiting for the airport bus. Check-in at the front desk requires a deposit. It is better to use a savings card or cash. The credit card must wait 15 days before the check-out, and the savings card will arrive in 2 hours. This is not China. The two hours are very fast. . The front desk is very friendly, the only thing missing is that you can't speak Chinese. A very cost-effective hotel, if you are not living 5 stars or come to this hotel.

From Fremantle, take the train to Perth Railway Station, walked to the hotel with a mentality of visiting the city and the city. Hotel location is very good, easy to access, you can walk to the Swan Clock Tower, the bus to the airport is near the hotel, five or six minutes walk away, every hour a shuttle, it is much cheaper than Ctrip booking to the airport.
