East Beach Hotel

Thank You to Michelle and her staff for making our 60th Birthday celebrations so special. Our Table was beautifully set. Service was impeccable Cakes were very tasty Lovely Rooms Welcoming atmosphere Thank you for also taking the time to show us the function room for a potential future booking Highly recommend

This hotel is very friendly, clean and a perfect spot on the sea front. When I arrived I got greeted with a very friendly receptionist who upgraded my room which was great so I had a Seaview. The room was spacious with a good shower and fabulous views of the beach and pier, you could even take the chair outside and sit on the balcony. The bed was comfortable and room was warm. The breakfast was lovely and if you fancy a drink in the evening the bar and seating area is very good for a bit of a people watch. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. I travelled solo and was made to feel very welcome and would definately stay here again.

Pros: A well decorated and very clean bedroom and bathroom overlooking the sea. A very comfortable bed. The furniture and curtains were of a good quality. The heating was easy to adjust to a comfortable temperature. The receptionist was very welcoming. The lift was always available. Cons: Upon arrival we were presented with a document which had a full list of everything in the room (including the 2 teaspoons), which had to be signed in case anything went missing. The towels were shockingly threadbare. The TV wasn't straightforward to use. The choice of breakfast was extremely disappointing. We had expected a range of self-service continental choice, followed by the option of a cooked breakfast. However everything was served by a waitress (including cereal and fruit juice) and the only cooked choice was a Full English. At £160 for 1 nights B&B we thought there would, at least, be fresh fruit and yogurt available too. Overall, it was great in some respects but failed in others.

We had a fantastic weekend with our doggy at this amazing Hotel. Sarah was brilliant, the room was superb and breakfast was delicious. We will definitely come again and also recommend this place to all our friends. Thank yous so much. Stuart & Jenn

Very impressed with this lovely hotel. The staff were exceptional, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed from the moment we checked in. The hotel layout had a cosy lounge and bar which was a nice option for our group to gather and have drinks before going out for dinner. We were lucky enough to get a room upgrade and it was clean, comfortable and well equipped. TV, clean private bathroom and tea/coffee facilities. The bar was well stocked and made for a pleasant night cap. The staff even checked our drinks were topped up before closing for the night at 11. Breakfast was lovely looking out at the sea in a conservatory style dining area. I honestly can't fault this hotel and we were so pleased to have stayed there. Thank you to all the staff at East Beach, you made our stay fantastic and you are a credit to the hotel. We will definitely return.

Our second visit to East Beach Hotel and once again the stay was amazing! Our executive/Luxury Room had sea views all round, a very comfortable bed and with it being the night before valentines day, staff even laid petals on the bed and floor and we was greeted with chocolates and and a Cold bottle of prosecco as we entered the room!! Our cooked Breakfast was served by Sarah who was great! Food was served quickly and was exactly what we needed to start our second day in Eastbourne. Sarah even went a little further with a personal touch and made hearts out of the napkins for us. We will definitely be returning and look forward to it. Dan+Shona

The rooms are out of this world. Airy and the seaview ones have access to a balcony. The staff could not do enough for us. As it was quiet they upgraded all 4 of our rooms to seaviews. The lounge area was lovely for a nice gin and tonic and chill and the views are glorious. Waking up on a very sunny January morning and sitting on a sofa in our bedroom looking at the sea with a cuppa can't be beaten. Thank you so much I have found my go to when I visit Eastbourne again.
