as always, really helpful staff throughout. Despite a continued aweful smell in the corridors, the rooms are perfectly clean and pleasant with no smell. Issue this visit was despite having a do not disturb notice on my door, room service still knocked on which was dosturbing.

I didn't expect to be something like that, very old and the staff weren't friendly. You weren't even allowed to eat at the reception as a resident of the hotel where there are loads of empty tables and chairs. Thankfully, the room was very clean.

Basic good value hotel with all that you need for an overnight stay. Staff very friendly and happy to help. Had to change rooms as first one stunk of ********, no problems in doing and very apologetic. Near to tram to take you into Manchester.  Would use again, if looking for a no frills clean comfortable good value overnight stay near to Manchester concerts, matches and nightlife and happy to use tram then this is for you.
