My stay was not good. They locked me out of my room and didn’t have a record of my reservation. We left early and didn’t stay the second night.

Room amenities and facility amenities did not match what was indicated online. We specified free breakfast and parking. Neither are free. Our first deluxe room didn't have a fridge and the remote didn't work. In our second room, the remote didn't work. The deluxe or premium rooms are not large hotel rooms by any definition other than NYC. HOWEVER, if you are traveling with a pet, we recommend Sonesta! Housekeeping should wait until 9am to knock.

The room was clean and the staff friendly, but it won’t be a hotel I seek to stay at again. The pool and hot tub were closed for renovation, parking in the open and near empty lot was an extra charge ($5/night but why?), and there was no barista for the dedicated Starbucks bar. The vinyl messages on the room mirrors seemed odd, especially the one encouraging patrons to hang up towels for reuse, despite the fact the only towel bar or hook in the room was holding the clean towels. Not bad for the price, but not a favorite.

This property has been beautifully updated and some elements are still in progress, like the pool. The rooms and community areas are beautiful, our bed was comfortable with nice linens and pillows. The thing that was odd, was there was this amazing lounge and dining area, included were booths with a tv. This all lent itself to a restaurant or at least a bar and breakfast service, but nothing was available. I would think that would be a nice revenue stream. A starbuck's coffee service was there, but when I asked for service, I was told the manager/barista was in a meeting, so no service. Breakfast, even for pay was a joke. This beautiful hotel was almost empty of guests, but my room given was at the back of the hotel. I hope they pull it together as a great potential is waiting to blossom. For now, I'd choose to return my business to the Hyatt next-door that is in full operation and provides a hot breakfast.

Cockroach in the rooms!
I checked in one of the room in 3rd floor and found cockroach on the beds and the front desk lady assigned me to another rooms. In the middle of the night, found cockroach crawling around as well on the "new rooms" assigned to me.

I wan’t able to get early check in without a fee. I was not aware I’d be charged for parking. There was graffiti on the elevator doors. There was a blocked door that caused us to have to walk outside when we were wet. Breakfast was more than I expected. Room was clean and comfortable.
