Pros: The location of the hotel is good. This is a big hotel with many rooms. The terrace is super nice. shortcoming: 1- But my room is separated from the noise of huge equipment, I don't know what it is, it is much more noisy than the refrigerator. 2- The corridors and restaurants don't turn on the heating very much, it's very cold. 3- The bed is relatively soft 4- But there is no parking space for taxis in front Overall: 4 points The price-performance ratio of more than 2,000 is not very high, but the level of the entire British hotel is incomparable with that of Asia, and this hotel cannot be blamed.

Good location if based in Leith, buses from downtown and the airport express 200 stop directly outside and close to the Leith canal walkway which is nice. Currently lots of construction of the tram outside which makes the location look uglier and harder to navigate than normal. Rooms are good clean and acceptable size. Breakfast is ok. Some of the staff are quite surly, very grumpy when I checked in and refused to help me extend my booking, forcing me to have to book another place.

This hotel is historic and grand, I highly recommend it. Was once the Harbor Master's house for the port of Leith and it truly holds all of the charm of a historic building, but with many cool upgrades! The area is really charming, just off the water and a fairly quick bus ride to all the downtown sites. Every single member of the staff from the restaurant, to housekeeping to the front desk really went out of their way to be kind, helpful and attentive. This was a trip of a lifetime for me and they truly made my visit to Edinburgh all the more. I highly recommend The Malmaison. Thank you so very much for an excellent stay.

New to Edinburgh but not Premier Inn. We were warmly greeted and staff were very helpful throughout our stay. Great view from our room overlooking the harbour. The room as expected everything you need. Continental breakfast more than adequate and well laid out. Easy access into Edinburgh city by tram a short distance away. Booking all day ticket cheaper option and easy to do on smartphone. We didn't eat at Brewers Fayre in the evenings but choose the Fishmarket just along the harbour Best fish and chips ever ! Service great in the resturant. A great stay and we would recommend.

A fantastic three night stay here! I phoned ahead a couple of days before to ask if it would be OK to leave my Car in the Car Park mid morning before check in so that I could go into the City as I knew I would be arriving early. I would told on the phone this would be fine just turn up by the side gate and give them a call which I did and was able to park immediately. To my surprise though on arrival i was also told that as they knew I was coming early to leave my Car my room was also ready so I was checked in before 11am meaning I didn't have to come back to check in and then go out again in the evening. Breakfast was fabulous particularly the Scottish Highland cooked Breakfast but if you have to be somewhere in the morning make sure you arrive for breakfast the moment breakfast starts as it is freshly cooked and can take a while although to be fair I was told this at check in also so no faulting the Breakfast! The staff at Breakfast and check-in were extremely friendly also I will definitely look to stay here again next time I'm in Edinburgh!

Although it is a bit far from the city center, tram is very convenient! Next to it is the Spanish Visa Center. If you are coming from Scotland to apply for a visa, you can stay here for a while if you are not in a hurry to return~ The boss was super nice and even checked us in early when we arrived early. The food and drinks prepared are all delicious! The environment is super cozy 🥲I love it! ! If you need to stay in Aibo next time, you will stay here again! !

Very good, the feeling of going home, you have it, and some people have cleaned up. Away from the city, it is 10 minutes to drive into the city center. The parking in the city is very expensive. If you have the opportunity to go to Edinburgh in the future, you will choose to live here. Then you can choose the bus. The station is conveniently located next to it. A big supermarket 10 minutes walk nearby, I still have a very beautiful scarf inside~
