Myself and my wife go to Edinburgh every year. This year we came for our 1st wedding anniversary and found this absolute gem. The owners made the trip for us ! Incredibly welcoming and very knowledgable about the area, directing us to visit new places within the city and recommending other local attractions and restaurants outside of the city. They made the trip even more special by buying us a cake to help us celebrate our anniversary ! Each breakfast (amazingly included in the price) consisted of 3 courses and the menu of mains was varied and restaurant quality ! Ideal location to get the bus into the city (very cheap tickets) with a bus every 20 minutes. This included a night bus to get us back in more unsociable hours. The rooms were clean, spacious and ideal for the trip! It was incredibly homely and had qualities you wouldn’t get from a standard hotel. We will be looking at staying here again next year and I’m sure each year after that ! Could not recommended it more !

My partner Dan booked Just b for my 50th birthday and can I say what a wonderful surprise it was, we were made to feel welcome by Karo and Geff. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable, and the bed was so comfy as well. The breakfast is amazing as was the surroundings you ate it in. What a wonderful peaceful place to stay, run by a wonderful kind couple. I would highly recommend this b&b and we are definitely coming back to stay.

Charming quiet retreat on the outskirts of Edinburgh, a 25-minute bus ride into city. Bus stop very close by. Geoff and Karo could not have been kinder and Karo’s variety of breakfast offerings very gourmet and lovingly prepared. Rooms fresh and well appointed.

Disappointing! Did not live up to the glossy image portrayed on the website. At check-in we were told breakfast options were reduced due to Karen being away. Room decor and furnishings are tired and in need of some tlc. Couldn't stand up in the shower and bathroom flooring needs replacing. No hand-wash, no teatowel/dishcloth, cobwebs etc. Very expensive for the standard of accommodation and overall offer. Only chose this place due to the glowing reports - would not stay again!!
