I very much enjoyed my stay at the Moment George IV Bridge, with one small caveat. I had a Castle View apartment. Really enjoyed seeing the fireworks at Edinburgh Castle during the Tattoo. (The sonic booms from the fighter jets flying over head, maybe not so much -- but that's not Moment's fault.) The apartment is more hotel room than apartment; I'd describe it as a hotel room with a dining-room table and a kitchenette. There's an induction stove with two tops -- great if you want to cook for yourself. (I did not.) TV with Netflix and other app functionality. A steamer that doubles up as an iron (somehow). Hair dryer. The usual works. Bathroom is well-appointed. Water flow in the shower was excellent. Towels were super comfortable. Housekeeping is not available by default, but I requested mid-stay housekeeping, and Moment responded right away to set it up (and agreed to do it without charge). There's a washer and dryer near Apartments 1 and 2, which are super clutch, especially if you're on the road for a while. Moment even offered to drop off a few extra laundry pods without cost -- truly excellent customer service. The one caveat isn't really Moment's fault -- just something to think about. In August, it can be deceptively hot indoors. The Moment is no exception. The apartment gets a lot of light in the afternoon -- so even with the curtains drawn at all times during the day and the fan pumping, it'll get up to 26-28C. There is no air conditioning. At night, I opened the windows, which helped cool the room down to about 22C -- but the outdoor temps were around 17-18C. I run hot when sleeping, so I need a cool room. To their credit, Moment were very responsive and offered to provide an additional fan. (I don't think it would've helped.) And this is by no means a Moment-only problem; I've stayed at other hotels in Edinburgh with a similar problem. But if you prefer a cool room when sleeping, maybe don't pick a Castle View apartment in August. Oh, and one other small point; there is no dresser/drawers, just coat hangers and a clothes rack. No full-body mirror, either (although there's one in the hall). I do just fine without those amenities, but they may be important to some of you out there.
