Was just a place to stay overnight. Rooms were average (no fridge). Staff were friendly enough. Location was an easy walk away from The Royal Mile.

The location is decent, not far from the city center (within a mile), and the room size is pretty good. However, there's no free Wi-Fi; the 'free 30 minutes daily' is basically useless, it just doesn't work. The hotel has fire doors everywhere, which is a bit inconvenient. Also, be aware there's no air conditioning, just an electric fan in the room. There's no hairdryer either; you have to borrow one from the front desk downstairs.

Convenient transportation and clean facilities.

Facilities: well-equipped. Cleanliness: satisfactory. Environment: elegant. Service: quite good, I liked it.

We stayed in the family room for 2nights.a queen size bed with 2 single beds. The room were clean and tidy. All staffs are helpful and friendly. We had breakfast package and the breakfast was ok. The hotel is in the city centre and travel to train station is about 7mins walk. Noise is minimal.

The location is excellent, within walking distance of the Old Town attractions and the train station, with plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including an elevator. The family room we booked had one large bed and two single beds, and it was very spacious. We were given a room on the 4th floor, which was very quiet. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and slippers are not provided, so you need to bring your own. Coffee and black tea are available in the room, and you can also get them at the front desk. The buffet breakfast is £11.99 for adults, and children can join for just an additional £1. Daily cleaning is not provided; you need to notify the front desk or hang the 'clean my room' sign on the door for towel changes and trash disposal. There's only 30 minutes of free internet per day. Considering the cheap price we paid, I still think the hotel is quite good.

No slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, or any toiletries provided. The breakfast was unappetizing, and the front desk couldn't store luggage, not even for a fee. We had to ask multiple times for fresh towels. The only upside is the good location.

This hotel in Edinburgh is in a great central location, easy to find, and within walking distance of major attractions. Although the room wasn't huge, it was well-designed, and the bedding was clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk staff were friendly and check-in was quick. It's also convenient for dining and shopping nearby. Overall, the value for money is pretty good.

The room isn't big, but it's sufficient. Just remember that no toiletries are provided, so bring your own. Also, there's no luggage storage. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM; it's simple, but the food is quite tasty. Check-in and check-out were both quick.

The location is excellent, but they don't clean the room unless you ask. Plus, they don't store luggage. I arrived around 11 AM and they wouldn't let me store my bags. I had to pay for luggage storage outside the hotel. The value for money is poor; it's very expensive for the facilities and amenities they offer.

The room size was decent, but there was no air conditioning (understandable for Scotland). However, the lack of a fridge was a bit disappointing. What's more, the hotel wouldn't store my luggage before check-in. I arrived early and was told the only option was to pay for an early check-in. It seems like this is a common tactic for these chain hotels – everything extra comes with a fee.

The staff was friendly and professional, the room was comfortable, and the (optional) breakfast bar was sufficient, Although the room had a firm and comfortable bed, I don’t care for the new style of bed covers that have no sheet and only a thick comforter on top. Also, the room was very noisy due to its location facing the street. Since it was a hot day, we had to leave the window open to cool off the room, so we heard the noises all night, such as groups of people walking and talking in front of the hotel, the group of people yelling at 2 a.m. from a nearby bar, and the cars moving across the stone streets throughout the night. Fortunately, there was a tabletop fan to help move the air in the room.

I did not go again because not clean, no air condition, no heat water for shower.
