The hotel reception and gym are in renovation and the breakfast place is very restricted as a result, do not expect that for this kind of price, quite disappointed

We had an amazing stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the rooms were great and breakfast was good.

Excellent location, spacious room perfect choice for anyone dropping their child off at university.

Hostel location is nice near university of edinburgh. Breakfast menu is nice although its the same everyday even the options of fruits and crossiant fillings. Its freshly made everyday . Service is nice at ground level is really nice Pro: location, hotel staff , laundry and dry cleaning service on first come self serve basis. Rooms have AC , Table fans, iron kit , mircrowave and fridge. Con: Room service needs improvement. They have given it to 3rd party so have fixed timing and clean rooms faster and can be some times undone partially! I would recommend to stay here for 3-4 days or untill you are not bored of eating same breakfast :) Reception is available 24/7 which is nice. Nearest bus stop at forrest road.

Love the cleanliness and vigilant that the housekeeper knew there are four of us, so they added additional towels. Superb!

It was a bit far away from the train station. The room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Laundry was free to use. However, the dishwasher in the room kept showing error and making some water noise the whole night and we couldn’t turn it off.

We stayed for three nights in August, the breakfast was very basic with limited choices.The hotel staff were unattentive and without passion for their jobs.The lobby was very small and cold.The location of the hotel was good and convenient to go to the major sightseeing places such as Edinburgh Castle, which was only a 10 minutes walk, and the Royal Mile which was also only an 8 minute walk.
