1. The breakfast selection was quite limited and pretty much the same every day. It wasn't as varied as what you'd find in a similar-class hotel back home, though the taste was decent. Personally, I found the bacon and sausage a bit too salty. 2. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff were friendly. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. 3. Edinburgh isn't a huge city, so the hotel was within walking distance of all the main attractions.

When we arrived our room was ready an hour early which was a good start and it only got better. The staff where all very helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast had a great selection and was kept well filled, the swimming pool although not huge was never busy but it was January and it pleasantly warm. Overall a lovely hotel in a great location only 15 mins walk from Princess street and about 10mins from Edinburgh Castle. We had a lovely stay and would stay there again.
