This hotel is a real head-scratcher. The bathroom floor is raised above the bedroom floor, so after a shower, all the water just floods into the room. The location is genuinely good though, within walking distance of Princes Street. It was a bit frustrating that the cleaning staff didn't understand English. The cleanliness was pretty subpar; the bedsheets were very dusty and had some stains. Putting aside the great location, if this hotel were in China, it would be priced at less than 200 RMB.

The Hotel has modern decor, a nice atmosphere, and is neat and clean. The room is a bit small, but it's comfortable and ok for a short stay. It's well decorated and tidy. It's a bit far from the center, about a 20-minute walk, but it's very convenient to travel by the tram, which stops in front of the hotel, only 5 mins reach the center. There's only 1 tram in the city. If you come by train, getting off at Waverley Station, you walk to the Waverley Market, the Princess Street exit, and you can get on the tram to the hotel, getting off at the Haymarket stop, very very convenient. As I'm Thai, I met a Thai staff member at the reception, and he's very nice, friendly, and helpful. I will certainly come back to stay here if I come to Edinburgh again. Edinburgh is so beautiful, like a fairy tale.

The room was a bit far from the city centre. Need to take tram in front of the hotel. The lift runs very slow. Better take stairs

This hotel is a renovation of an old property, so the location is excellent, but the rooms are really tiny. The showerhead in the bathroom is fixed, which was a bit inconvenient to use. There also weren't enough power outlets in the room.

Great location, close to tourist attractions – you can walk to them. Haymarket train station is also right across from the hotel, which makes getting around very convenient. Plus, there are lots of Asian restaurants nearby.

The hotel room and bathroom were indeed too small; there wasn't even enough space to open a suitcase, so it had to be stored under the bed. The view outside the room was decent. The main advantage is the hotel's excellent location, right opposite Haymarket. You can walk almost anywhere, which is incredibly convenient, and there are bus stops right outside. The hotel breakfast was just so-so, with limited variety and options. It was a typical English breakfast, not bad. The reception service was mediocre, especially the male front desk staff who gave me the wrong room number twice, even though I showed him the room number written down. He seemed unbothered and unwilling to help.

It was absolutely great. The service, amenities and facilities. Bus stip is right outside the door. Train station right across the road. City 15 mins by walking. It's 10/10 for me.

Really nice stay near Haymarket, very easy to get to from Edinburgh Waverley and close to lots of lovely food spots!
