Kick Ass Grassmarket (18+)

This is in the city centre so location is great. There were no amenities and room was clean. The image is taken in the hostel.

It's a good hostel, right in the center, a couple of minutes' walk from all the sights. I liked everything, but there was one downside: I was cold in the evening. At first, I thought someone had opened the window, but no, it was just a draft from the frames, and there was no heating anymore. The next day it was warmer outside, and in the hostel, too.

Bring a key for your own locker!

I absolutely loved this place. This was my second visit to Edinburgh, and after staying at Kickassgrassmarket on my first visit, I decided to stay here again. The service was great, the cleanliness was great, and the location was fantastic. I really enjoyed my stay here. I'm sure I'll be back on my next visit.

The ventilation wasn’t that good so the rooms felt very hot and stuffy, however, the staff was lovely and so were the people staying at the hostel. The bathrooms require a bit more care though, one of the soap dispensers was broken and the bathroom door didn’t close properly at times. Had a great time overall and great value for what I paid.

This was a perfect place for a transit stay. The receptionists is super helpful. It was within walking distance to the castle, shops, the tram to the airport, and the train station. Would totally stay there again.

The location is accessible and easy to locate, the staffs were accommodating. I would definitely book in this place again. Thank you
