Blinkbonny House

We stayed with the Blinkbonny House for a total of 6 nights. The breakfast was carefully prepared per individual request and the room and private, ensuite bathroom was gorgeous. Large windows overlooked the lovely back garden and tall, detailed ceilings provided a sense of grandeur. Our room was beautifully decorated with fine wood furniture and a stunningly large mirror over the fireplace. The shower water pressure was divine and the bathroom modern and spacious. The location was perfect for a trip to Sainsbury or to grab a bus into the center of the city. The surrounding neighborhood was quiet, cute and picturesque with neat hedges and well-tended gardens. The hosts were wonderful souls with whom we instantly formed a friendship. They made our stay with the BlinkBonny House so pleasant and safe—like a home-away-from-home with very good friends. We genuinely wanted to spend time chatting and joking with them and we only wish we lived in the UK so we could see them more often. Shaun and Elaine, if you read this, thank you again for your kindness and hospitality. We look forward to when we can stay with you again.

Warm welcome, family run, friendly little b&b. Very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was always superb whether it was a fry up or porridge. Off road parking was a bonus. Sean the host was a lovely man who I’ve no doubt would do all he could to make his guests happy. Advice for the host would be to invest in some new bedding and bath towels as those he has are past their best - all was spotlessly clean, just a bit tired and old. Would definitely stay here again!
