This is hands down the best value-for-money hotel I've stayed at in the UK. It's just a ten-minute drive from Edinburgh city center, nestled within a stately estate. You'll find peacocks, Highland cattle, and even a black cat roaming the grounds. The ambiance is incredibly elegant and luxurious, with a distinct British charm that feels truly opulent. Breakfast isn't a buffet but à la carte; once you've paid for it, you can order as much as you like without any extra charge – fantastic value! They also offer a rich variety of lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner options. The food is Michelin-quality, and the prices are reasonable. Furthermore, the rooms are exceptionally luxurious and well-appointed, truly a top-tier hotel. The staff are warm, friendly, and absolutely faultless!

The location is a bit out of the way. It's a private estate hotel, very old-fashioned, and very photogenic. It's recommended for couples' vacations, but the soundproofing between floors is a bit poor.

The hotel's interior is beautifully decorated with thoughtfully crafted historical artifacts. The rooms are a bit small, but the beds are very comfortable. The hotel's restaurant is also highly regarded for its British-style cuisine. It's worth a try.

I'll definitely go again next time. The service was superb, the food was classic, the golf course was huge, and there was even a beautiful peacock.

The room is dark and the facilities are a bit old. But the surroundings are beautiful and the pure English breakfast is great.

The location is very secluded. It would be great if there is a place to play ball. The room is a bit small. The breakfast is the best one I have eaten in Edinburgh. I didn't have enough time, otherwise I would definitely try their afternoon tea and dinner.

A manor hotel converted from a century-old monastery, you can fully experience the life of a British manor. The room is very comfortable, and you can see the scenery of the manor outside the window when you wake up in the morning.
