The place was tidy and still quite close to the city centre. Relative to the price it is satisfactory. It has a bath inside the room, although the heating wasn't that strong and can still feel a strong cold. You need to walk 20 minutes from city centre and alternatively can use the tram and alight from Balfour. Overall it is considered an economical place to stay in.

Good location in a quiet neighborhood, just a short walk from the tram station with direct access to both the city and the airport. We were able to drop off our luggage before check-in, which was very convenient. We were also upgraded to a room with a private internal bathroom, which was a nice surprise. Overall, a great and affordable option for a private stay in Edinburgh. Highly recommended for budget travelers.

We stayed one night at Cambridge House. The location is excellent, and the hostess was very friendly. The room was generally clean, though not entirely spotless. For a single night's sleep, it was perfectly adequate.

Staff were very noisy in the morning 8am. Im still sleeping. I can hear shouting talking loud. And door slamming. And my room don’t have a own bathroom. My bathroom is outside my room the guy said its my private bathroom but i notice someone is using it. The toilet seat is dirty like someone sat on it.
