This hostel is fully automated, so there's not much staff around. You'll need to communicate via email for check-in. The location is excellent, very convenient for getting anywhere. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

The Loft is really central in the city and the beds were comfortable. We traveled with 4 people and had the whole room for us. The best part is the cooperation with The Court and that you can participate in the activities there, as well as store your bags on the day of the checkout.

Definitely worth the slight awkwardness of crawling into capsule-pod from foot end for greater privacy (curtain, individual light, useful narrow shelf) and quieter night's sleep, and the bathroom has adequate facilities – toilet, two each of basins and well-designed shower cubicles – for up to eight (two four-bed rooms): a bargain in comparison with usual central Edinburgh prices… and, if not using the well-equipped kitchen, the back entrance to a Wetherspoon pub is next door, barely a dozen steps away!

The location is super central, and it's reassuring that everyone gets their own locker with a lock. However, the front desk is often unstaffed, and you absolutely have to check out on time, otherwise, your key card will expire and you won't be able to get in anywhere.

I loved the space. It also felt very safe especially since I can access my room and locker with my own code. Same applies to the entry door. It felt very modern and comfortable. It’s very close to the city centre with loads of restaurants nearby and the castle quite close too. I will definitely stay here again.

It was fun staying here with reasonable price. The location is perfect and the castle is super close. Also, restaurants and grocery is nearby. No problem with access at all and very comfortable place as well.

The place was clean, the location was convenient, and the staff were friendly. Having a locker in the room for storing belongings was a definite plus. I also had the good fortune of having very considerate roommates, which meant I enjoyed some great sleep during my stay.

easy check in. the bath needs more cleaning. and the drinage was blocked. a bit noise in early morning. other thing just as expected.
