5/5PerfectGreat hotel with onsite parking. Nice bug comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Staff very pleasant. Nice cook breakfast which was made to order. Will definitely be staying here again.

4.7/5OutstandingWe stayed as attending concert nearby . Hotel has changed its name , best to call in advance unless enjoy taking part in hide and seek of the hotel . Hotel was clean, bar very small but we didn’t use it so no drama . , room spacious , clean and shower excellent . All in all , a good standard of hotel , good location and very quiet .

Haven't found the right property yet?
It was a bit confusing as the hotel (a building on a campus) changed names between my booking and arrival. Parking was tricky as there were literally 2 spaces available after driving all over campus to find one (and the one we chose turned out to not be the proper space...) due to construction blocking use of the nearby lot. After all that, the stay was wonderful - lovely nature, gardens and architecture on campus; the room was extremely nice with a good selection of hot beverages; the location is right below Arthur's Seat with a walk to begin the Royal Mile at Holyrood Palace; the breakfast was delicious (try the haggis - it's delicious!) with buffet and hot food included; and the desk attendant was very helpful to two weary travellers and directed us to the convenient Salisbury Arms for a delicious dinner and atmosphere.
