The room was incredibly spacious, with a separate living room. I'd definitely want to stay here long-term if I visit Scotland again. The room was very quiet, and the living room sofa converts into a bed. All the appliances were high-end brands like Dyson and Smeg. The only downside was the lack of on-site parking. There's an NCP car park under the bridge a bit further down, costing around £25 per night. The hotel is very close to the castle, about a 5-minute walk, and about 10 minutes from the city center. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, which is very convenient.

Booked this for my parents. The facilities are comprehensive, the location is excellent, the bed is very comfortable, and the hygiene is great. My parents loved it and couldn't stop praising it. Parking needs to be reserved in advance.
