I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel during my trip to Edinburgh. The location was very convenient, making it easy to explore the city and access public transport, restaurants, and many of the main attractions. It felt like a great base for sightseeing while still being comfortable and relaxed. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout my stay. From check-in to check-out, they were helpful, professional, and always willing to answer questions or offer recommendations for places to visit around the city. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Everything worked as expected and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt warm and inviting. we booked a room when the Storm Eowyn happened and the staff (or the owner) allowed us to do early checkin for free. the room is worth with the price. just one suggestion, the room heater could be hotter

The room is awaiting refurbishment which I wasn't aware of until I spoke to reception about the shower which was overflowing into the sink/toilet area. However the receptionists were extremely helpful and friendly.

The room was cozy and warm with a large window and window seat. Premium toiletries, lotion, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Lovely updated bathroom. Steps from the bus line and many restaurants within 2 blocks. Staff was friendly and offered suggestions about where to eat and find live music. Safe neighborhood setting. Mother and daughter traveling together. Excellent coffee and very nice breakfast buffet.
