Apex Waterloo Place Hotel

There's no on-site parking, but the hotel helped arrange paid parking for us. Luckily, there was a very kind Chinese-speaking front desk staff member who helped us sort out the parking fee, which wasn't cheap. It's super convenient at the foot of Calton Hill, and other attractions are within walking distance. The hotel rooms are spacious, and the breakfast is delicious.

The rooms and bathrooms are clean, and the hotel is close to the train station, making it convenient to go anywhere. The front desk staff was excellent. On our second stay, we felt our room was on a lower floor, and we requested a twin room. She diligently helped us find a new room and ultimately managed to switch us. She even proactively helped us move our luggage to the new room and gave us two complimentary drink vouchers for the bar, which we greatly appreciated. Additionally, there's a Chinese girl at the hotel's front desk who was very helpful. She told us where the supermarket was and the easiest way to get to the train station (just like someone else mentioned, definitely don't follow Google Maps, as it leads you over a big hill; following her directions was very convenient, no big hill climbing needed, you can take an elevator down). We are very grateful to her.
