More than pleasantly surprised by the comfort of our stay but completely surpassed by the wonderful hospitality of the staff & especially Olivia who always went above & beyond with her care & attention to detail. It is true you need to be able to negotiate the steep stairs into the property with a suitcase & carry your case up at least two flights of stairs so if you can't manage that this is not the place for you. The room was hot but an AC fan provided. It is in the heart of Edinburgh so a working town noise is to be expected. We found our room full of unexpected luxuries such as the SMEG fridge & hair straighteners. The breakfast choice was wonderful & what we chose the William Wallace delicious. It was a wonderful end to our trip & would recommend.

Excellent 1 night stay at Rabble. Booked as a birthday treat for a friend. Staff went above and beyond. Cosy, clean and comfortable room. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast. Service fantastic would highly recommend this hotel.

The only disappointment was the room being located on the ground floor, with the window facing onto a back street, people could basically see into our room. We had to use the blackout curtains for privacy, unfortunately there were only 3 smalls lamps inside the room which made it very dark. Also there is no air conditioning which made it even worse, as we could not keep the window open for safety and privacy.

During my stay I sustained an injury breaking three ribs! The staff were most concerned and helped me throughout a painful ordeal. I would like to thank each and everyone from the General Manger down for the support provided. What a superb team. Thank you.
