Unable to contact customer service... All lines are ringing out, several voicemails left without any replay. Emails left unanswered. I cant believe this happened before even booking accommodation. God knows what would be after reservation has been made.Terrible service.

The worst accommodation I’ve stayed at in a while. The gate was very hard to open, as it is a bit stuck and you have to open it by a little running start and shoving it with your shoulder a couple of times. When I asked an employee who worked there for help opening the gate, via phone call, she was very condescending and dismissive. I eventually got to my room which looked nice, but I quickly found it was not. The bin next to the toilet was absolutely filled to the brim with bloody pads and tampons. No one thought to maybe change or check that before new guests arrived. Then, when I tried to take a shower, none of the water was going down the drain so I took the cover off to see what was going on, and the drain was absolutely clogged with handfuls of hair. I texted the same woman about it, she said that there was nothing they could do it about it now, and that there was some maintenance going on somewhere else that could be the reason there was so much hair clogging the shower drain? I was hoping someone would’ve come and cleaned it up while I was out for 11 hours the following day, but no. Absolutely disgusting place. I would not even recommend this place to someone I hate.

We loved our stay here, Dayna the duty manager was so helpful, she messaged us to make sure we'd made it safely and ensure that we were happy with the room. The room itself has a coffee machine, kettle, iron, hair dryer etc, all the things you need for a city stay. The bed was comfy, the TV had lots of options (netflix, prime, iplayer etc) and the shower was grand - basically all the things I care about were spot on. They also have a virtual key system so you can use your phone to open the building and room doors, this brought me more joy than it probably should have. The location was perfect for us, the bus stop (a minute walk away) took us everywhere we needed, but if we needed to walk we were 15 minutes from the city centre and walking distance from Leith as well. Also there's a Sainsburys and Starbucks right across the road and also a nice little bar next door and a coffee shop round the corner. Would definitely stay here again :)

Stayed as part of a deal from Itison for 2 nights. Location is interesting and not as central as I’d incorrectly assumed. Around the hotel is quite dimly lit & did feel somewhat uncomfortable at nighttime. The room itself was compact. The television is wall mounted & can only be viewed from the small sofa in the room and can’t be manoeuvred round. The main issue was the lack of cleanliness. Used sticking plasters were left on the floor in the bed and bathroom area & the floor was not properly cleaned. The sheets on the bed were heavily stained & had random hairs stuck to them. We couldn’t find anyone to assist with this given this is essentially marketed as a self service hotel - but it’s clearly not ideal. Overall somewhat disappointing.

Beware of this business!! All may be well until you need to make changes to your booking. We emailed and called in excess of 20 times only to reach a voicemail which was obviously not monitored. Emails were never responded to. We needed to cancel the first night of our booking and contacted the property numerous times well ahead of their 14 day cut off to no avail. I was finally able to speak to someone on the day of our booking. At that stage, we had still not been sent the entry codes. I was told the business had changed hands and they had no record of the bookings. While they then did send us me the entry codes, they have still not refunded the first night's fee. I was told that the new owner had to speak to the old owner and they would contact me. I called again the following week. And texted. And called a few weeks later. Then I was told the owner is on holidays in Korea and the person did not know when they will be back. If you are thinking of booking with this business, be aware that you are likely to never see your money if you need to make any changes

The place is nicely situated close to Tram points. We had an issue that was quickly resolved, but on moving the beds discovered a great deal of dust. Getting in the apartment was fiddly. Wouldn’t go again.

Booked in February for a trip in June, and paid £150 for 2 nights, in advance. They had a complicated method of entry as it is not staffed. I was supposed to get a link on my phone to enter the building and my room the day before. No link was sent, so I emailed them, no reply. I turned up and couldn't get in, as there was a keypad to which I didn't have the code. I had to find alternative accomodation, walking in the rain dragging a suitcase and carrying a heavy backpack. The first hotel was full, so they sent me to the hostel down the road, who were full but managed to accommodate me. Thanks to the nice young lady on reception. I didn't know but On the Walk had changed ownership between booking and visit, which no one had bothered to tell me. I am still trying to get a refund weeks later. I would advise avoid at all costs.

Absolutely excellent experience, very comfortable accommodation. Secure access. There was a bit of a situation, which was dealt with efficiently quickly, and professionally. Well what a find. Nice part of town with lots of coffee shops and bars. Easy to access the city with tram and buses outside. Room was clean and modern but couldn't get the TV to work, only on demand content. The only issue for us was the arrival process as the virtual keys did not work and the telephone number on the email was to someone no longer associated with the premises. The number on the website worked and we were then able to get in. As a property with no staff this bit needs to be faultless and wasn't. Only reason not for the full five stars.
