Destiny Scotland Market Street Apartments

This was our 9th lodging for our 2 week trip and one of our favorites. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was a luxury for my family of 4 - as well as the kitchenette and living room area. The apartment was nicely decorated, modern and clean. We didn't use the laundry facilities but it was great to see 2 washer and dryers on the floor - and the storage closet for luggage. My only complaint was I wish the property management company sent me messages in the ******* App - even if to tell me emails were sent to my personal email account. Since we were on vacation, I wasn't checking my email so I almost missed verifying information in order to get my entry code. Also the fan in one of the bedrooms was a bit noisy and probably needs to be replaced.

Went without electricity to any outlets and the tv for the first day. A lift would have been nice but we knew beforehand that it didn’t have one. Booked this place because it had laundry facilities. Clothes smelled dirtier after washed.

Property was just perfect, exactly as described, there really isn't anything that you could fault it on, plus everything about check-in, access, etc. was just simple.

My apartment was impeccable. The faucets were shining! The bathroom and kitchen were spotless. I was very impressed by the quality of the toiletries (sad that they were fixed in the shower and I couldn't take a bit with me!) and the generosity of the kitchen supplies: plenty of coffee and tea! For a small space it had absolutely everything I could have needed: hair dryer, safe, ironing board, every essential kitchen necessity: colander, cutting knives, measuring cup, tea pot and kettle, toaster etc. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the check-in was effortless. I am very low-tech but their email was clear: arrive, put in your code at the front door (same one for your room!) and that's it. It was easy to leave our luggage for the day. I had a question and someone answered me immediately from the intercom at the front door. It was a 3 minute walk from the Waverley train station and a mere block from the Old Town - I couldn't have picked a better location. I highly, highly recommend these apartments and have no idea how I could even suggest any improvements!
