The room was quite nice, right next to the University of Edinburgh. Honestly, it wasn't too far to walk to the city center. The view from the window was great, but the foreign landlord's tone was a bit jarring when we spoke on the phone.

The apartment is right next to the University of Edinburgh, with an amazing view. There's a convenience store and Starbucks downstairs. The room is large, the bedding is comfortable and very clean, and the kitchenware and tableware are complete. There's also a washing machine. If I didn't have other plans later, I would definitely have stayed a couple more days. However, I must say the customer service staff were extremely unprofessional. Seeing feedback from other travelers about troublesome check-in, I called customer service around 1 pm. The operator had a distinctly Indian/Pakistani accent and rudely hung up on me. I had no choice but to contact Ctrip. China's service is definitely more reliable! 👍 Below, I've posted the conversation for your reference. Had a super comfortable stay with an excellent location. The property is very well maintained. The hosts were very kind and ensured we had a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend to anyone travelling with family and visiting Edinburgh.
