Arran House - Campus Residence

Genuinely not even worth a single penny! Stayed here for two nights and I’ve never experienced anything like it. The rooms were so small, with a questionable ‘double bed’. The pillows were as flat as pancakes and there was hair in the bed. The shower had hair in it and there was one towel between the two of us. No soap or shower gel. The floors were stained clearly not swept or mopped and a dirty chair at the desk. Dust everywhere! The heat of the room was unbearable leaving us unable to sleep through the night with no fan, aircon or a window that opened further than a few inches. Over all never staying here again. Especially not for the price you pay for a room like that!

Great student accommodation, super friendly staff and always willing to help. Any maintenance needed in the flat gets sorted within a couple of days, and general space in the accommodation facilities is great with dedicated study areas for us students. We recently have got new mattresses, and it has ensured a very comfortable sleep, would highly recommend.

Fifth floor level too hot. Extremely poor plumbling for toilet flush and it doesnt help that not even so much as a cheap toilet brush is left. Take your own soap! (If you want to wash.) Five floors up and traffic still extremely noisy. Pool table ripped and slanty. Ping pong table broken. Foosball table broken. Have to fight to get in the one lift that took us up to fifth floor. Not recommended as a holiday stay accomodation.

This has not been developed to be a hotel. You don't get have toiletries, we've booked for 2 people and stayed in a single bedroom and only towels for a person provided. The bed is awful, mattress is terrible and all your body is in pain in the morning. Very noisy on the night, lots of doors slammed over the night. No air conditioning in the room and is very hot. Tried to leave the window open but is very noisy from the cars and there are people shouting over night.

Wonderful experience! Kind reminder this isn't a hotel and we knew that as we enjoy traveling and staying in hostels and student accommodation because of their affordability. FABULOUS STAFF! Everyone was outstanding, superior service, welcoming and even made some amazing new friends for life. Great location. Parking was in Fountain Park, but you can validate your ticket for free with the purchase of a product or visit to a service in Fountain Park. This was our first stay in Scotland and we can't wait to stay here again!

Was okay, great service and location, bus stop just down the road to go into city centre if your not keen on walking the half hour to town, room was small but bearable for 2 nights but EXTREMELY hot not sure about every floor but we were on 5th floor, we had to go wait another hour as our room wasn’t clean that was extremely annoying saying we travelled all morning and just wanted to chill untill we went out to city centre but we walked about 5/10 minutes up to the restaurants up the street that was extremely handy but did get two alcoholic drinks and a box of sweeties that was more than amazing, staff were amazing and i do recommend for that reason
