We had a wonderful stay with James and Dora! The house was lovely, the location perfect for exploring Edinburgh city centre, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend trying the cheese omelette – it’s incredibly tasty!

Myself and my partner booked a last minute trip to Edinburgh as our previous holiday plans fell through rather unexpectedly, and it did not disappoint, and was made all the more lovely by the wonderful James and Dora. From the initial lovely email messages getting our room ready at such short notice, to our friendly welcome into the guest house by James, all the way to our departure where, again, we had a lovely chat, this place really did feel like a home away from home. The guest house is very welcoming and clean, our room was a great size, paired with a private bathroom, breakfast was always delicious with lots of choice, and the location of the guest house was very handy indeed, with a bus stop just outside and a short walk to shops and pubs in the local area, too. Altogether, we had a fantastic time, thanks again to the wonderful James and Dora for everything, and if we return to Edinburgh (which I am sure we will), we know where we will come to stay for sure, and will recommend to our friends and family for their stays, too.
