New, fresh, affordable, homey, 10 mins to the Edmonton Intl Airport.

The communication with the host was great. The room, kitchen / dining area and the bathroom are clean. Lots of parking space in the vicinity. Very safe and clean area and neighborhood. The room is private. The rest of the basement is shared with a host's family member who is very quiet and polite. I'd recommend this place as a financial viable solution.

The location was perfect for what I needed but there were some pieces I wasn’t thrilled about. First, I didn’t realize that there was someone else staying there. Unfortunately, I didn’t find out until it was too late to change it. This should be made more clear in the ad and not rely on busy people checking their messages. Second, there were no sheets on the bed. When I read the ad more closely, it says bed sheets provided. I feel like this wording is a bit unfair. And finally, I couldn’t find and towels in the bathroom beyond the hand towel. Perhaps they were in a drawer or cupboard but I was in a rush and didn’t have time to go looking. Overall it was very clean and tidy.

The add is misleading, the add doesn’t mention that it is a sheared space ,if the add was clear we wouldn’t consider booking it in the first place. We were lead to believe what I wouldn’t have to share they area we booked with anyone. Even after I asked the I was told we wouldn’t be shearing the spaces with anyone. There was someone else there in the next, We paid the full price, me and the wife felt unsafe to stay.
