Best safari ever. With the best guide ever….Fabian!! A lot of knowledge and very inspiring!! Super staff. Very good food. And a lot of fun. I do recommend this place for a lovely experience.

There are not enough superlatives to describe how great this experience was. The facility is beautiful, clean, safe, well designed and set right on the river. All the staff were remarkable, especially Marco, our safari guide. He took us out four times and each excursion was filled with lots of animal sightings. I had the expectation that we might see a few animals and that any sightings would have long intervals between sighting. I was wrong as it seems on every few minutes Marco was helping us discover more and different animals. Truly astounding. The cabins are quiet and well appointed. What we didn't not expect was gourmet food at every seating. Amazing. I have never been on another safari but it will be definitely difficult to surpass this experience. Thank you Rhino Post!!

Had an amazing experience here. Two game drives a day, getting up early, resting during the day. Our guide Sorta was very knowledgeable and drove us calmly to see lots of incredible animal scenes! Rooms are very comfortable, food is great.

As a family, four of us visited the Rhino Post Safari Lodge in Feb 2026 We had a fabulous time with amazing staff and service. The food was amazing and plentiful, the accommodation was stunning, overlooking the dry water bed where we saw Elephant families passing through. The safari's were astonishing, with a fabulous guide who was very knowledgeable, calm and determined to find animals. We were so lucky to see elephants playing in the river, lions lying 3 feet away from the jeeps enjoying the sunshine, a leopard eating its prey in a tree, hippos swimming up and down the river, baboons running about, wild dogs in packs on the road infront of us. Hyenas running along and giraffe picking leaves off the trees.

What an amazing private lodge in Kruger reserve. The location was just fabulous right on a watering hole with animals just outside our room. The room was just perfect with possible the largest bed we have ever had under the safety of mosquito nets. We had lots of space to sit relax and watch the world on the balcony. The outside shower was crazy! The lodge was so welcoming, with great staff, great food and what a location! Our guide was so knowledgable, patient and just lovely. I would recommend this lodge to anyone and we will definitely be back.

My stay at Rhino Post Lodge was nothing short of extraordinary. Early morning game drives, golden sunsets over the savanna, and the thrill of never knowing what would appear around the next bend. We were blessed with sightings of the Magnificent 7 — lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo, cheetah, and wild dog. Watching these animals in their natural habitat is both humbling and exhilarating. The circle of life, the quiet power, the raw beauty — it shifts something in you. Grateful for the adventure. Grateful for the perspective. Grateful for the reminder that we all have a place and a purpose in this wild and beautiful world.

We had 3 nights stay and had an experience which was beyond all expectations. The lodge is fantastic food was awesome and Fabian our guide was fantastic we saw every animal in close up situations and his knowledge and expertise was phenomenal. We gave this a 5 star rating and could not have been improved in any way. Keep up your fantastic dedication to making wonderful experience for all who visit.

We had never been on a safari so had limited expectations, the team at rhino post exceeded all our expectations and Fabian our guide was outstanding, he took us to the most amazing places and showed us the most beautiful animals memories that will stay with us forever.

Our experience at Rhino Post Safari Lodge was amazing. The lodge is very nice, the rooms are comfortable and beautiful, and the food is delicious. All the staff was very kind and friendly. Our guide Marco was the best, and my whole family appreciate his commitment and enthusiasm in making every safari ride an unforgettable experience. He tried his best at every moment, sharing his knowledge about the animals and their behavior, we felt safe and could enjoy the park and its inhabitants. Thank you, the time flew by in every adventure we lived with your company.

We had a delightful experience at Rhino Post Lodge. The food was excellent, including menu options for guests, with vegetarian and vegan options. The chefs were outstanding and the presentation was beautiful. The staff went out of their way to be welcoming and to give us lively birthday and new years celebrations. Shout out to Krystal for her wonderful singing voice and bright smiles, and Marvel for his hospitality. Fabian was an engaging and incredibly knowledgeable safari guide, and took care to be responsive to our interests (and many questions). We deeply appreciated the work he put in to not only help us find the animals we wanted to see, but also to ensure that we were having a good time. Each safari included a well curated complementary spread of tasty snacks and drinks, with stunning views. We’ll never forget stopping for sundown snacks alongside a beautiful family of giraffes.

A WONDERFUL stay- we highly recommend Rhino Post Lodge. We took 3 grandparents all over 80 and the lodge staff went out of their way to make it such a wonderful experience for all. Sorta was our guide and she was amazing- answered every question, found fantastic sightings and made us feel so at home. The rooms were super comfy and the lodge provided much-need umbrellas, ponchos and blankets for the drives when it was raining. Amazing food and everything just tailored to our needs. Well done on the eco efforts too- we so appreciated the goal of keeping everything low impact. We will definitely be back!!

This is a place to go back to nature and forget it all, the sounds at night are mind blowing, the service and food amazing, we even had kudu carpaccio! I felt very safe during the walks and I learnt lots about the animals and nature, I will never forget this place! Thank you!!

My friend booked us in for 2 nights and this was the most incredible experience! The setting was so beautiful! We stayed at the outpost thst had no wifi and we loved it ! We could hear the lions roaring at night which was scary but magical. The whole set up was beautiful with the fire pit and view of the stars. The food was so great - thanks William! And the service incredible too - thanks Trinny ! The bus walks and game drives were so great ! We even got charged by a lioness , but we were safe and well looked after by January and Darren! Thanks for such and incredible experience! The cleaning and maintenance staff were also so great too ensuring 5 star comfort! We would definitely return!

My husband and I were so fortunate to visit Rhino Post Safari Lodge for our honeymoon and my husband's birthday, and it exceeded even our very high expectations. First and foremost, I would like to start with the staff: I cannot imagine a warmer, more welcoming, or more attentive group of people. Every single person we interacted with that worked with Rhino Post greatly enhanced our experience. The staff even made a cake and sang a beautiful song for my husband's birthday that brought us both to tears. The food was also incredible. We were lucky enough to get to meet three different guides: Sorta and James on our game drives, as well as Greg, who took us on private birding drives. All three were insanely knowledgeable, wonderfully passionate about and respectful of nature, funny, and impressive in their abilities to adapt to needs of different guests - I wish we could have had more time with all three of them! The location is beautiful, and the rooms are lovely as well - we did a decent amount of research into our options beforehand and decided we ideally wanted a good level of comfort and luxury without sacrificing all sense of authenticity / being in the bush (we weren't looking to just stay at a luxury spa lodge with a hint of safari theme), and Rhino Post perfectly delivered here. There was so much attention to detail throughout the rooms and the rest of the lodge that helped to ensure comfort and luxury, while still being able to feel like we were in nature. I also really appreciated how things like dinner were organized to encourage mingling amongst the guests (as a strong introvert, I wouldn't have initially selected for this, but because of this setup, we met some absolutely lovely people that I very much hope to stay in touch with). My only regrets are that I wish we'd had more time there, and I wish we'd prioritized also having some time at the Plains Camp so that we could explore a bit more by foot, but that will be top of the list for next time!
