We stayed at the Hamilton Hotel and were very pleased with everything! The rooms are authentic, you are completely immersed in the safari atmosphere. We appreciated the individual approach to each guest, which is very nice. Delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. The safari was organized very well, we met almost everyone we wanted to see. Special thanks to the staff.

Wonderful experience! Highly recommended...any time again! Everything was just perfect. All the staff were very kind. I can't even praise a particular one.

My girlfriend and I stayed here in late November over my birthday. Upon arrival we were greeted by the Manager Thomas and further welcomed by all the staff. The entire trip my partner and I were addressed by first name and treated as though we were royals! Absolutely top notch from start to finish. The facilities, the service, the food, the game drives - absolutely faultless. A true credit to Thomas, Danny and their team… An absolute must-visit if you’re holidaying in Kruger.

We stayed at Hamiltons for 6 nights in mid November 25. The whole experience was excellent in every respect. The location is deep in the Kruger and certainly feels it given the absence of fencing and almost permanent presence of grazing animals in the grounds. The Camp fabric has an authentic feel, supported by an excellent location overlooking an active water hole. We were lucky enough to have periods with multiple species including elephant, giraffe, hippo etc. just beyond our balcony making for some great photos. The game drives were similarly excellent and we were lucky enough to have a superb ranger in Harley (aka Hali) with us throughout our stay. Hali went above and beyond to get us some brilliant game sightings. A big shout out as well to the excellent staff - too many to name - who were genuinely lovely and really made the time in Camp very enjoyable. Finally, the food was of a really high standard, especially considering the location and thanks to the chefs for some great meals. Overall a great experience at Hamilton’s, which we would highly recommend.

Magical, wonderful, once in a lifetime experience. Definitely left my heart there! Beautiful accommodation with walkways connecting tents with major areas which was very safe from anything you may encounter on the ground! The staff could not do enough for you and are very attentive. Thomas and Daniel excellent managers who are at pains to ensure your comfort and enjoyment at all times! Considering this camp is in the middle of nowhere, the food was excellent , good quality and plenty of opportunity to eat throughout the day! We saw so many animals come and drink at the waterhole from our tent. It’s not really a tent but a wooden structure with a canvas roof luxuriously fitted out! The description of tented camp does not do it justice as I would not have stayed in the bush under canvas as it is generally considered! So quiet with judt the noise of the animals and birds. Game drives - we saw far more than we anticipated even Rhino! Our guide Monet was amazing and very knowledgeable about everything in the bush! Really lovely guy who really made this experience so unforgettable - thank you! We would highly recommend this accommodation and experience!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hamiltons, everything was perfect from arrival to departure. The staff were all amazing, so friendly and welcoming; nothing was ever too much trouble. The tented lodges are beautiful and spacious. Lots of lovely little touches and attention to detail. Food was incredible (and plentiful!) We were so lucky to experience some incredible sights on our game drives. Our guide, Maynard, was so knowledgeable!

Coming to Safari was always a bucket list item for me, and Hamitons provided a great experience to my time in Kruger. Everything was perfect! The food was incredible. I think I gained 5 pounds! The safari adventures, both early morning and later afternoon, were well done by a very knowledgeable person (thanks, Kingsley). Our Tent (room) was comfortable living. The "boardwalk to this location was interesting! Everything was well done from start to finish. I would not hesitate to come back again to Hamiltons. Thanks, Hamiltons, for a great time!

This experience is unlike any other! I lett not wanting to say goodbye to any of the staff or guides! We could all take a note from this book! How can all of these animals live in harmony together, but we humans can’t!? I will never ever forget this experience or these people! Thank you to our guide Nic, you are truly an amazing human! Thank you to Silence, Jan, Thomas, Daniel, and everyone else! I feel like a piece of my heart was left here, and I hope I come back to it one day!

This is a truly elegant, stunning lodge with gourmet meals, excellent service and an old world atmosphere. Candlelight dinners on the verandah with linen tablecloths and vases of roses. A river in front of you and animals coming and going all day to the waterhole. An elevated walkway passing elephants, giraffe and antelope on your way to your room. Exquisite and highly recommended.

We spent 3 nights here as part of a package via Luxury Escapes and were very impressed. The property is very private and has just 6 tented suites, so a maximum of 12 guests. The rooms were great, very comfortable beds, cosy outdoor deck area and I loved the outdoor shower. 3 meals a day plus morning coffee and afternoon tea included, very high quality food, we enjoyed every meal. 2 game drives per day in the morning and evening with very knowledgeable guides. We were very lucky and saw the big 5 plus many others during our stay. Kruger and Hamiltons exceeded all of my expectations, I would definitely recommend.

What a lodge, what an experience! We had a memorable and wonderful time at this awesome tented camp. Top class service throughout with wonderful meals served. See hippos, elephants, deers, lions, etc whilst dining on the terrace overlooking the river. Enjoy two game drives each day. Wonderful staff throughout. Highly recommended!

The place looks dreamy and romantic. My husband and I like that there were no kids to disturb the peace. The food is good and well presented. The staff are courteous and helpful. We had a memorable experience at Hamiltons and God willing, we shall visit again.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. All the staff were so very pleasant and helpful. The safaris were very well organised and we managed to see The Big 5. What a holiday to remember. After returning from a safari, the staff were at the front of the lodge to welcome us with a hot or cold drink.

We stayed at Hamilton Tented Camp in the middle of March 2025 to celebrate my birthday. The accommodation in tent #1 was superb and luxurious with views to the river and dam. The management and staff did an excellent job and prepared a lovely cake and song/dance for my birthday. The Safari drives with Hali were very informative. We did not see much game, but we learned a lot about the bush, the trees and the birds. The game around the concession is plentiful, but you must be lucky on the day out to see it. All together an excellent and memorable stay. P
