Am Obersee Hotel

A small, charming hotel in a select and quiet location. The hotel is run by a Dutch family who are exceptionally friendly to their guests. The house and rooms are lovingly furnished, the beds are comfortable, and everything you need is provided. A wonderful breakfast completes the experience; it is plentiful and freshly served (no buffet). The rooms are located on the two upper floors, and the hotel is not wheelchair accessible. Check-in and check-out are completely hassle-free, and the entire process is remarkably stress-free. Overall, it's a perfect base for all kinds of excursions; the boat dock is about 100 meters from the hotel. We will definitely stay there again.

The hotel offers five or six rooms in close proximity to the Rur River and the town center. The breakfast is excellent, freshly prepared and varied, with something to suit everyone. The beds are comfortable, as is the room itself, which in our case was the triple room upstairs. Parking is available directly at the hotel and reserved for each guest. The hotel offers breakfast, coffee/cake, and afternoon snacks, but not dinner. Those wishing to dine out in the evening have several options, but should carefully check restaurant reviews beforehand. Some restaurants and cafes only accept cash.

The hotel could be better... the rooms are fine in size. The bed is very soft, the shower is excellent, but the rooms are noisy, and in fact, the entire hotel is very noisy. The owners seem less friendly. There are only six parking spaces. Especially for guests over 60. But that applies to the entire village of Einruhr. The hotel location is good.

Wonderful hosts with their hearts in the right place. A warm welcome, super cozy, beautiful rooms, and a delicious breakfast. We had two birthday boys 🎂 with us, so the place was even beautifully decorated. What more could you ask for? Thank you! The Maesen family from Belgium.
